General Overview
Hotel Ripa Roma is a mixed-use venue accommodating both leisure and business clientele. Approximately 40% of its business is dedicated to meetings and events.
Location
Hotel Ripa Roma is located in the Trastevere district of Rome, within a combined residential and commercial setting. It is approximately 900 metres from Trastevere railway station, offering direct connections from the city’s main airport. The hotel is situated 20 minutes on foot away from central tourist areas, providing a peaceful environment for business meetings. Buses can stop 10 metres from the entrance, and designated coach parking is available at Terminal Gianicolo or Terminal Ostiense.
An onsite garage provides parking for up to 20 vehicles, managed externally but billable through the hotel.
Design
Externally, the hotel features a 1970s architectural style with a concrete façade typical of that period. Internally, the space presents a modern, serene environment with predominantly white decor, accented by unique artworks and minimalist furnishings. Design elements throughout ensure a calm atmosphere suitable for confidential or focused professional meetings. One of the smaller rooms, Sironi, includes a private entrance allowing discrete access and check-in, suitable for sensitive or high-security meetings.
Meeting Spaces
Hotel Ripa Roma hosts five meeting rooms across the ground and first floors, all equipped with natural daylight, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and audio-visual systems. The largest room, Klimt, is modular and can accommodate up to 150 in theatre style and 80 in cabaret. This room is composed of the combined Marinetti and Chagall rooms and is located on the same floor as Dali. The venue also includes the White Space on the ground floor, suitable for private meetings (up to 80 in theatre style) or banquets (up to 120). Sironi provides private access for secure meetings.
Bedrooms
The hotel comprises 203 bedrooms distributed over floors 1 to 8. Room categories include Standard (encompassing Standard and Superior types). Each standard room includes a work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, a laptop-sized safe, and a balcony. Rooms are designed with business travellers in mind, offering practical and functional amenities without excessive leisure or luxury features.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
Guests are served breakfast in White Space and lunch/dinner at Ripa Place. Both venues offer Italian cuisine with international influences, using local and seasonal ingredients, and each has a seating capacity of 150. Both spaces can be fully privatised for events or private dining. In addition to restaurant facilities, White Space and Ripa Place serve as public areas for professional gatherings with capacities of up to 170 attendees. No awards have been claimed or advertised in relation to these spaces.
Experience
The hotel is experienced in hosting a wide range of meetings for the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Events include internal corporate meetings, product launches, and external HCP meetings. Its location supports healthcare sector engagement, being near several major hospitals in Rome (Spallanzani, San Camillo, Fatebenefratelli, Bambin Gesù), and well-connected to event venues such as Fiera di Roma and the Roma Convention Center "La Nuvola".
Fitness
A mini gym is located on the first floor, away from the meeting areas, and is equipped with both free weights and exercise machines. The venue does not promote itself as a wellness or spa destination, and no spa or leisure treatments are offered. There are no other notable leisure facilities within the hotel premises.
Hotel Ripa Roma is officially rated as a four-star property. The venue does not position itself as luxurious or entertainment-focused and avoids promotional language on its website. No use of non-compliant language such as “luxury,” “boutique,” or “award-winning” has been identified.
