Location
The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel is located in a city/residential area of Copenhagen with views over a lake and residential buildings. It is accessible by public transport, including metro and bus services, and is also easily reached by car. Copenhagen Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by car or taxi, and around 20–25 minutes by metro. The hotel provides 250 car parking spaces, managed by Guardian (formerly ParkZone). Coaches can drop off and pick up guests directly in front of the hotel, though long-term coach parking is not available.
Design
The hotel’s exterior reflects a 1970s concrete architectural style with a contemporary aesthetic. Internally, the design is modern contemporary throughout public spaces, meeting areas, and bedrooms. The single-level conference floor supports discrete delegate movement but is accessed via the main hotel lobby, with no separate private entrance.
Meeting Spaces
The hotel provides 13 meeting rooms located on a dedicated floor. The largest room measures 900 sqm and can accommodate up to 1,100 guests in theatre style with front projection. All meeting rooms are located on the same floor, enabling ease of breakout sessions and supporting logistical flow. The conference floor can be booked exclusively for larger events.
Bedrooms
The hotel has 544 bedrooms across 17 floors, ranging from the 5th to the 26th. Categories include Standard Rooms, Premium Rooms, and Junior Suites. Standard Rooms are equipped with a work desk, laptop safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, and coffee/tea making facilities. All rooms contain a mini-fridge, which is empty in Standard Rooms.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
The primary restaurant, Filini, located on the ground floor, serves international cuisine and has 350 seats. It can be rented exclusively for larger groups; however, meeting rooms are recommended for presentations requiring privacy.

The Lounge Bar and Restaurant (lobby, receptions up to 200 persons).
The View (25th floor, receptions/dining/lunches up to 150 persons, available for private hire).
Blue Elephant (Thai restaurant with 96 seats)
Experience
The hotel has hosted a variety of healthcare-related meetings, including congresses, exhibitions, advisory boards, board meetings, and internal healthcare events. It has established MSA agreements with healthcare agencies and is situated close to universities and hospitals, though it does not formally partner with them.
Fitness
The fitness centre is located on the 4th floor and managed by Sporting Health Club. It offers a full range of equipment including free weights and machines. There is no pool or spa, and the hotel does not market itself as a spa or wellness property. The fitness centre is positioned one floor above the meeting facilities. The hotel also has a casino on the ground floor, managed externally.
The hotel markets itself primarily as a business and meetings venue and holds an official 4-star rating.
It does not provide live music, DJ, or entertainment, and does not promote itself as award-winning or luxury-focused
A potential compliance consideration is the presence of an on-site casino, which is operated independently. It's internal entrance can be blocked off and advertising covered during HCP meetings.
