General Overview

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Warsaw is a 4-star hotel with a focus on meetings and events, and facilities to support the leisure guests.

 

Location:

The hotel is located in a quiet, suburban area of Warsaw with green spaces and surrounded by residential housing, and commercial buildings, 15 minutes from the city centre, and 20 minutes car drive from Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Airport (WAW). There are 450 free on-site parking spaces and 149 paid spaces available in an underground garage with space for coach parking outside the front entrance.

 

Design:

The design follows the brand image of Hilton and is contemporary and modern, with executive styling to the overall look and feel. Colour schemes are muted in tone with the use of browns, wooden floors and warm consistent styling throughout all public and private spaces. The interior complements the modern styling of the exterior, with the widespread use of large windows, oversized brickwork and an impressive entrance with a feature canopy. There is, no attempt to provide a luxury or high-end impression however, this is a hotel which reflects a recent refurbishment. 

 

Meeting space:

The hotel offers 21 contemporarily designed meeting rooms with the largest being able to accommodate 1,800 persons theatre style or divide into 6 rooms with a large foyer area located on the ground floor with access to a terrace. All other rooms are located on the 1st floor. All the conference rooms are equipped with modern multimedia equipment and have access to daylight. The space is considered the largest in this part of Europe

The hotel’s conference and event space, separated over two floors, is well suited for exclusive use, where no other groups or individual guests will have access to your meeting. Due to the large number of meeting rooms which are connected and offer flexible-set ups the hotel is able to meet the requirements of a broad range of different meeting types, starting from small regional meetings through national conferences and international medical society congresses.

 

Bedrooms

The hotel has a total of 359 rooms of which 321 are classified as standard. All the rooms are spacious, bright, in line with the modern styling of other parts of the hotel and are equipped with self-controlled air-conditioning, LCD, and telephone as well as a private bathroom with shower or bath tube hairdryer, towels, free toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, ironing board, iron, mini bar, safe and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

 

Restaurant:

The restaurant “Garden” is located on the ground floor, and chandeliers, sculptured ceilings and décor provide an enhanced space, which is not positioned as fine dining. The Garden can accommodate 450 persons sitting down. It provides a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte as well as buffet menu meal options for groups. Lunch for meeting delegates can be served both in the restaurant and also in the foyer and can be privatised but for meetings with catering, a private room is required.

 

Fitness:

The hotel has a pool, spa and fitness facilities as well as a garden and sun terrace. The Spa is an authentic spa space with multiple rooms and treatment facilities located on the 1st floor.       


Other Spaces:

The hotel offers for rental an event space called “Zazen Club & Lounge” – a place to organise evening entertainment for up to 400 people. It has its own dance floor, fully equipped DJ and club lighting.

Compliance Hotspot

The Zazen Club and Lounge is not open daily as a pay-on-entry nightclub and is used as a private rental space only. It is located on level -1 separated from the meeting space on the ground and 1st floors. Minimal information can be found in venue marketing.   

There is no doubt the spa facilities are extensive and impressive, and are located at the back of the building, but does have an external entrance. Internally, access is via a winding corridor which means, it cannot be seen from meeting or public spaces. The internal swimming pool and saunas are on the ground floor at one end of the building. Clear and detailed information is contained within the website and there is on property marketing of the spa however this does dominate the overall impression of this smart, business hotel.
