General Overview.

DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole is a four-star conference & events Hotel and is the largest residential conferencing and event space in the South East of England - can hold 1, 000 people in theatre style or 800 banquet.

 

Location.

DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole is located on the South Coast of England in Brighton City, just 30 minutes from Gatwick International Airport and under an hour from London by train, Brighton station is a 15-minute’ walk. For delegates driving, the hotel offers a car park of 201 spaces available onsite.  

 

Design.

The hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole has a distinctive Victorian exterior, being built in that period and shows elements of Victorian architecture, such as decorative stonework, intricate detailing, and large windows.

 

Bedrooms.

There are 321 newly refurbished contemporary, spacious and light guestrooms. All rooms offer a queen or king bed, with workspace, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, and complimentary wi-fi. 

 

Meeting Space.

Meeting rooms are divided into 2 sections, the Congress Centre that covers 3 floors and offers 14 meeting rooms.  The Ball Room and dining area can be used as an exclusive area and can accommodate up to 1,000 delegates in theatre style.  The other Section has 10 rooms and is located around the Hotel Lobby area.

 

Restaurant.

The ground floor houses the main food & beverage outlets. The external Metropole Terrace is a relaxed area  Guests can dine on the delicious, locally-sourced menu. In Metropole Bar 50 guests can be seated for launch or dinners.

IGuests take breakfast at the 1890 At The Met and the dining room features expansive windows, and ornate ceilings, and can be used for private dinner meetings, we can accommodate up to 120 seated guests.

For large groups and events, the catering area in our Congress Centre –Durham, is able to accommodate up to 550 people seated at the same time.

 

Experience.

The hotel has successfully hosted a wide range of Healthcare sector events such as external advisory boards, regional meetings, product launches, and large internal sales conferences.

 

Fitness.

The hotel offers residential guests, access to its LivingWell Health Club with free weights and machines.

 

Compliance Hotspot

The hotel uses its seafront location in its sales and marketing to target the leisure market but this should not distract bookers from considering this as a conference hotel.
