Located in the heart of the Netherlands, Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht is a leading international venue with a wide range of meeting spaces for groups from 2 up to 1,500 delegates, and 10 flexible halls covering 86,000 m², ideal for hosting both mid-seized and large scale events e.g. association conferences, trade events and corporate meetings. Royal Jaarbeurs has been repeatedly recognised by event professionals and visitors as the Best Conference Venue in the Netherlands.

The venue is centrally located directly next to Utrecht Central Station, just 30 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Known for its focus on sustainability, scalability and sector alignment, particularly in Life Sciences & Health, Smart Sustainability and Digital Society.

Location
Located in the central city of Utrecht, Royal Jaarbeurs is within 5 minutes' walking distance from the Central train station and the heart of the center and limited distraction from tourist sites. Schiphol Airport can be reached within 20 minutes via a direct train connection and by car within 40 minutes. Due to the central location of Utrecht, the Utrecht Central train station is the hub of the national train network, offering direct connections to all major cities in the Netherlands as well as convenient train connections to major European cities. For delegates driving, Royal Jaarbeurs provides ample parking.

Bedrooms
As a full-service venue, Royal Jaarbeurs does not offer hotel rooms at the facility however, hotel rooms are within walking distance. For any hotel accommodation needs as well as catering, event theming and audio-visual needs, the venue has close working relationships with selected local partners, and the Utrecht Convention Bureau.

Restaurants and Catering
Aside from the exhibition halls and meeting spaces, the Event and Exhibition Centre houses a restaurant, open for visitors of the venue. The Beatrix Building also houses one restaurant open for public use. A separate restaurant, as well as two bars, are available for visitors to the Beatrix Theatre.

Meeting Spaces

Royal Jaarbeurs offers numerous types of venue facilities for large and small events in two separate buildings, the Event and Exhibition Centre and the Beatrix Building, located across from each other.

All venue facilities offer easy-to-use plug & play audio-visual facilities and free Wi-Fi, as well as custom catering solutions using fresh, healthy, and sustainable products. The various conference centres, exhibition halls and meeting spaces of Jaarbeurs are in two separate buildings, the Event and Exhibition Centre and the Beatrix Building.

The Event and Exhibition Centre houses 10 large exhibition halls with room for events from 1.500 up to 10.000 guests and can be interconnected, to be used as larger halls, or halls for smaller exhibitions. All halls are connected to a centrally located corridor with two entrances to the building on the East and West sides for easy access.

The second floor of the Exhibition Centre is accessible by both staircase, and elevator and offers access to three separate modern conference centres with capacities from 24 to 650 delegates in theatre style. Each conference centre comes with large plenary rooms and smaller break-out rooms as well as centrally located foyers. All areas have dedicated access routes and offer the option for exclusive use, to allow for confidentiality and privacy.

The Beatrix Building across the street houses another conference centre with a classical design, and a private entrance on the ground floor. The Beatrix Theatre has room for up to 1.500 persons theatre style in the main hall and has two foyers, catering venues and a separate exhibition space of approximately 2,400 m2 with an open plan.

The 1st up to 4th floor of the Beatrix Building, gives access to 30 contemporarily designed meeting rooms of various sizes, all with daylight, suitable for 2 up to 240 persons theatre style. The separate rooms on each floor share a central meeting space where catering can be provided. They are accessible via the main Beatrix Building entrance and are available via elevator, escalator, and staircase.

The ground floor of the Beatrix Building also houses the permanent Jaarbeurs Studio, suitable for hosting online events.

Experience

Several fairs and conferences specific to the healthcare market are organized by and at Jaarbeurs each year such as ‘Zorg& ICT’ (Health&ICT), ‘Zorg& HR’ (Health&HR), ‘Zorg& Food’ (Health&Food) and ‘Dutch Health Week’.

The Dutch Health Hub, the established knowledge and innovation platform and online community works as an engine for future-proof healthcare is one of Jaarbeurs’ initiatives. It works to bring stakeholders together and collaborate with the goal of affordable, better, and more sustainable care with more attention to health and prevention.

Royal Jaarbeurs is within easy reach of the UMC (University Medical Centre of Utrecht) and the Uithof (Utrecht science Center) as well as any other major medical centers in the country such as Radboud UMC, AMC, WKZ, TU Delft.

Royal Jaarbeurs is an active partner and supporter of the Princess Máxima Centre, a care and research center of paediatric oncology in the Netherlands, and the Helen Dowling Institute, the oldest and the largest psycho-oncology center in the Netherlands and that combines care, research and education under one roof.

As an exhibition centre Royal Jaarbeurs does not have leisure facilities and despite being central it does not overlook any tourist sites
