General Overview 

Sitting near the River Dyle, Martin's Klooster is a 4-star business hotel in the centre, and residential area of Leuven, close to but not in the more tourist areas of the Old Town.

Location

Brussels Airport is 30 minutes away by car or public transport and for national and local meetings, access by road is via E40 & E314 direction Leuven then exit 18 (Herent). Underground parking is available. The main Leuven Railway station is 10 minutes away.

Design

Martin's Klooster has a 500-year history – and this history is on display on both the inside and out with turrets, oak beams and lattice windows and is blended with modern and contemporary styling throughout public spaces and bedrooms.

Bedrooms:

Martin's Klooster’s 103 rooms retain some features from the building’s past and is complemented by contemporary decor. All rooms have a sitting/working space with a safe, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making and air conditioning.

Meeting Space

Martin's Klooster has 3 modular meeting rooms located on the same floor in another building with its own private entrance. It is separated from the main building by a patio and meetings of between 10 and 100 people can be accommodated

Each is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, LCD projector, flipchart and screen. Meetings also take place in their seminar lounge to enjoy a coffee, chat with colleagues or brainstorm ideas.

Experience

Leuven is a university city, and Martin's Hotels collaborate with the university on various programmes involving the medicine faculty. They also work with Leuven City on the building of a new conference centre which will be built next to the hotel.

The hotel leverages its history, design, and central city location to attract the leisure market but it doe snot overlook any 'tourist attractions'.
