General Overview:

Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam is a 4-star business hotel just outside the city and away from the distractions of the city centre.

Location:

Schipol the Airport is reachable within 16 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes by car. The RAI Exhibition & Conference centre can also be reached in 5 minutes by direct Metro.

Bedrooms:

The hotel features 490 bedrooms with 335 comfort rooms, 147 deluxe rooms, and 8 suites. The difference between our comfort and deluxe category are the additional amenities that can be removed to offer more comfort rooms for healthcare meetings.

Meeting Space:

The hotel offers 11 meeting rooms across two floors with the largest meeting space, the Amstel Ballroom, on the 2nd floor. The ballroom is made up of three connecting rooms which when combined can accommodate 600 guests in theatre style.

On the 2nd floor, you will also find The De Dam meeting room of 52m2 which can be utilized as an office or breakout space for up to 45 guests in theatre style.                                        

The 2nd floor of the hotel can be reached by escalators and elevators and can be completely privatized providing the privacy required by meetings for the healthcare sector.

Seven smaller meeting rooms are located on the ground floor which offers flexible spaces suitable for advisory boards for 10 or conferences with up to 100 guests.

Restaurant:

The restaurant on the ground floor can seat up to 400 guests and the unique proposition of the hotel is its ability to Eat, Meet & Sleep groups of up to 400 delegates. The restaurant can also be privatized for lunch or dinners for larger groups.

Fitness:

The hotel offers guests a gym with ree weights and machines. There is no spa but a sauna and steam room is available.

This venue is in a destination that has a strong offering for both business and leisure visitors. As a result, people's perceptions of the venue may differ depending on how they use the location for meetings. This venue is located close to a number of local tourist attractions. These, in our opinion, have no bearing on the venue's meeting proposition, as there is a clear separation between the hotel site and of the attractions.

The hotel does offer residential guests the use of a Fitness room with free weights and machines, and a sauna and steam room but is provided on a separate floor to the main meeting space so would not prove a distraction to delegates attending a meeting here.
