Location
Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is directly situated at the airport, surrounded by commercial buildings and offices. The hotel is connected to the airport via a covered walkway, just a 5 to 7-minute walk away. Schiphol offers direct connections to over 270 global destinations. Amsterdam Central Station is 15 minutes away by train, with trains departing every 10 minutes. For delegates traveling by car, the hotel is conveniently located just off the A4 highway and offers 138 parking spaces in an underground garage. Additionally, coach bays are available outside the hotel for pick-ups and drop-offs.
Design
The hotel's exterior combines sleek steel, glass, and concrete elements, creating a modern and dynamic appearance. Inside, guest rooms and meeting spaces are arranged around a central atrium with a glass ceiling that fills the lobby with natural light. The sophisticated atmosphere is complemented by contemporary furnishings, elegant lighting, and decorative artwork.
Guest Rooms
Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol offers 433 guest rooms spread across 9 floors, featuring Dutch design elements, such as unique diamond-shaped windows and curved walls. Each room includes a work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, an iron and ironing board, and a laptop safe for added convenience.
Meeting Space
The hotel features 31 meeting spaces, all located on the first floor. The meeting areas include six small boardrooms on one side of the central atrium, and a larger, pillarless, double-height ballroom and conference spaces on the other side. Access to the meeting spaces is available via the external walkway, the lobby escalators, or guest room lifts. The ballroom can accommodate up to 640 guests in theatre style, with stand-up catering provided in the foyer.
Restaurant
The Bowery Restaurant, located on the ground floor, serves a buffet breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinners. The menu features international cuisine, contemporary grill dishes, Asian specialties, and authentic Dutch classics. The restaurant’s interior design reflects Dutch heritage. It can be privatized upon request, although for dinner meetings, a dedicated meeting room is recommended for a more formal setting.
Experience
Thanks to its strategic airport location and excellent international connections, the hotel regularly collaborates with global healthcare agencies and hosts both internal staff and external healthcare professional (HCP) meetings, including Investigator Meetings, Advisory Boards, and CRA Trainings.
Fitness
The hotel features a fitness center on the first floor, accessible to all residential guests. It offers a selection of cardio and strength training equipment, complemented by a small swimming pool and sauna for relaxation. The wellness facilities are thoughtfully integrated into the hotel’s design, ensuring they remain discreet and do not disrupt delegates attending meetings. Spa treatments are also available, managed by external staff.
The hotel is officially unrated and aligns itself to a 4* business hotel.
The hotel has a separate spa, also on the first floor providing treatments. This is managed by the hotel with permanent staff however, in our opinion, it blends in with the hotel's interior design and does not provide a distraction for delegates attending a meeting here.
