General Overview:

The Hilton Amsterdam Airport is a large conference hotel  Schipol Airport, with 433 bedrooms and meeting spaces that accommodate up to 640 delegates. 

Location:

Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is directly located at the airport and surrounded by commercial buildings and offices.

Access to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is via a covered walkway (5 to 7 minutes walk), and the airport offers direct connections to over 270 global destinations.

Amsterdam's Centraal Station is 15 minutes away with a train departing the airport every 10 minutes. For delegates traveling by car, the hotel is located just off the A4 highway and offers 138 parking spaces in the underground parking garage. Coach bays are also available outside the hotel for pick up and drop-offs.

Design

The exterior of the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol hotel is modern and sleek with a striking mix of steel, glass, and concrete elements, creating a dynamic and visually appealing structure.

Inside the hotel, bedrooms and meeting spaces surround an atrium with a glass ceiling, providing the lobby with natural light. Contemporary furnishings, elegant lighting, occasional artwork, and decorative features, reflect the hotel's sophisticated atmosphere. 

Bedrooms

The hotel provides 433 guest bedrooms across 9-bedroom floors and features Dutch design touches with unique diamond-shaped windows and curved walls. They all come with a work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea/coffee-making facilities, iron & ironing board, plus a laptop safe.

Meeting space

The hotel offers 31 meeting spaces and all located on level 1, with six small boardrooms on one side of the central atrium, and the larger pillarless, and double-height ballroom, and conference spaces on the other. Access is provided by the external walkway, via the lobby escalators or bedroom lifts.

The ballroom can accommodate 650 in theatre style with standup catering provided outside in the foyer. 

Restaurant

The ground floor Bowery Restaurant is the location for guest buffet breakfast and lunch, plus a la carte dinners. It serves international cuisine, a selection of contemporary grill dishes, Asian specialties, and different authentic classics combined with an interior design that depicts Dutch heritage. It can be privatised on request however, for dinner meetings, a meeting room is recommended.

Experience

Due to its airport location with excellent international connections, it works with global healthcare specialist agencies and hosts both internal staff and external HCP meetings including Investigator Meetings, Advisory Boards, and CRA Training.

Fitness

The hotel's first-floor, fitness center offers residential guests a mix of cardio and strength training equipment. There is a small swimming pool with a sauna. 

The hotel has a separate spa and provides treatments. This is managed by the hotel with permanent staff however, in our opinion, from the first floor, its appearance blends in with the hotel's interior design and does not provide a distraction for delegates attending a meeting here.

The hotel is officially unrated and aligns itself to a 4* business hotel.
