General Overview
The Lisbon Marriott Hotel is a prominent 4-star city hotel and conference center, that combines modern amenities with a touch of Portuguese charm, making it a popular choice for leisure travelers and business. With 16 meeting rooms, its conference meetings and events its core focus. 

Location

The hotel is located outside Lisbon’s historic city center surrounded residential buildings and close to the financial and business districts. Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport is a short 6–10-minute drive (about 5 km), and is well-connected by public transportation, with bus stops and metro stations nearby. The Praça de Espanha Metro Station is a 10-minute walk, providing access to the city’s extensive metro network.

Major highways are close by and for delegates driving, there are 60 paring spaces and for group travel, coaches can park outside.

Design 

The building itself is a modern high-rise with clean lines and a neutral colour palette, that blends into Lisbon's urban landscape. The hotel is surrounded by well-manicured gardens and greenery, 

Inside, the lobby is open, with high ceilings that create a sense of space and light with an overall design that emphasizes neutral tones like whites, greys, and soft golds, accented by modern art and subtle Portuguese motifs.

Meeting Space
The hotel’s 16 meeting rooms are accessed via the lobby and offers a total of 2,000 square meters of event space, most on the same floor, with access the Garden area and Restaurant.

Rooms vary in size, ranging from small, intimate boardrooms to large, flexible ballroom for up to 428 delegates in banqueting and meeting room for 400 delegates in theater.

Bedrooms
The hotel has 16 bedroom floors, from the 2nd to 18th and business amenities include a Work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi, mini –fridge ( without minibar) 

Restaurant

The Citrus Restaurant is situated on Garden floor and serves Portuguese / International food and seats up to 400. It has semiprivate areas suitable for group lunches and dinners. For 100% private dinners, the Hotel Ballroom, separate from plenary, can accommodate for up to 428 in banqueting rounds
In addition, the Tapas & Tiles Bar – can be used for small informal groups for cocktail receptions.

Experience
The hotel has experience in hosting all meeting types and congress room blocks and works with the local healthcare meeting marketplace.

Fitness
The hotel has a fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines. The outdoor pool is situated in the garden area but is seasonal. There is no spa and treatments are not available.

The Lisbon Marriott is a true conference hotel, located outside and away from the city’s historic and main tourist areas.

Within the hotel is a Gift and jewellery shop, these are leased and managed by external companies.

Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool which is used in images to market the hotel but this is seasonal.

Based on the hotel’s marketing, location, design, and facilities, in our opinion, this hotel can be considered as an appropriate venue for hosting healthcare professionals (HCPs).
