Paris Marriott Rive Gauche is a large business hotel with the largest conference centre in Paris. In 2024, the hotel unveiled the latest Marriott Great Room concept, presenting a contemporary space designed for business and corporate use. The property comprises 706 guest rooms and 51 suites and a 5,000-square-metre versatile conference centre. The venue supports events accommodating up to 1,200 participants on a single floor.

Location

Paris Marriott Rive Gauche is situated in the 14th arrondissement, a city centre district on the Left Bank of Paris. The area is characterised by a mix of business and residential buildings, without direct views of tourist attractions. The venue is conveniently accessible: Paris-Orly Airport is about 14 km away (25–35 minutes by taxi), Charles de Gaulle Airport is approximately 35 km away (45–60 minutes by taxi), and Montparnasse Train Station is around 2 km away (5–10 minutes by taxi or public transport). The Glacière Metro station is a 5-minute walk. Parking is available opposite the hotel, and space for coaches is provided directly in front of the hotel.

Design

The venue’s external architecture is characterised by its 1970s bold and structured design. Recent internal refurbishments have resulted in a contemporary, refined style suited to large business events. Public and meeting spaces are modular and compliant-friendly, offering discrete access and flexibility for healthcare meetings.

Meeting Spaces

The hotel provides 58 modular meeting rooms across four floors, housed within a 5,000 m² conference centre. The largest room supports up to 950 guests in theatre style, equipped with a 29-metre-wide LED screen. Additionally, a new 1,000 m² immersive event space will be available from September 2025. The conference centre features a separate entrance connected to the hotel, facilitating easy access. Meeting rooms on the same floor as the largest space support seamless breakout and plenary configurations. The facility is fully equipped with AV services and an on-site support team.

Bedrooms

There are 757 guest rooms distributed from the 4th to the 18th floor. Room categories include Deluxe (Standard), Executive, and Junior & Family Suites. Rooms are equipped with business-focused amenities: large flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, work desk, personal safe, mini-fridge, and Nespresso machine (removable upon request). Selected rooms offer city views.

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The Brasserie, located on the ground floor, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering classic French cuisine and international dishes. It seats 80 but cannot be fully privatised; meeting rooms or lofts are recommended for private dining of more than 40 guests. Additional public spaces include the Great Room Lobby Bar, serving a range of beverages and snacks, and the Wine Room, an intimate venue for up to 20 guests. There are no publicly promoted awards for these spaces.

Experience

Paris Marriott Rive Gauche has significant experience hosting healthcare-related and corporate events, including pharmaceutical and medical conferences for up to 1,000 attendees. The hotel aligns to the DMOS law, and has active collaborations with local science parks, hospitals, universities, and life sciences companies. It holds MSAs with key healthcare agencies.

Fitness

The venue offers a fitness centre located on level 1, separate from the meeting spaces. The gym includes both exercise machines and free weights. There is no pool or spa on-site, and the venue does not market itself as a spa or wellness destination. No spa treatments are provided.

The Paris Marriott Rive Gauche is officially rated as a 4-star hotel. While the venue promotes its proximity to tourist attractions such as Jardin du Luxembourg and the Catacombs, it positions itself as a business and conference hotel. Some promotional language includes references to "exceptional meeting scene level" and nearby tourist areas. No excessive emphasis on luxury, boutique, or entertainment-focused branding was observed.
