Located in the western part of Zurich it is 5 minutes from the Zurich Hardbrucke train station which connects to the airport in 25 minutes by railway and by tram with the nearest stop, outside the hotel.

There is also a direct connection to the “1” motorway which heads towards Basel, Central Switzerland, and the Airport.

The hotel offers 8 multifunctional meeting rooms across two floors and can accommodate meetings from 8 – 230 when the Hardturm 1 & 2 are combined.

The hotel has a total of 197 modern guest rooms and suites with 96 Sheraton rooms, which is in the hotel's Standard’ category, and 32 larger Executive rooms. The added amenities can be removed from Executive rooms which could then be considered for the allocation to HCPs.

Club rooms and suites represent significant upgrades and are unlikely to be considered appropriate for the allocation to HCPs.

Guests have complimentary access to the modest fitness room on the 3rd floor that provides free weights and exercise machines but there is no pool and spa treatments are not available.

The hotel markets itself as a Hotel aligned for both business and leisure guests due to its location in a commercial & residential district.

The hotel’s website uses a Sheraton brand template to present images and descriptions that reflect the alignment to business with some touches to attract the leisure market and does not attempt to position the hotel as one that is luxurious or deluxe.

A Google search on the property will shortlist the hotel’s own and Sheraton’s group listings and also those from external travel sites. Most focus on the hotel’s accessible location close to the heart of Zurich and does not suggest a property that is luxurious or deluxe.

The hotel uses social media accounts such as a Facebook page and Instagram to advertise special promotions from the group or special events that take place at the hotel or in Zurich.

Zurich is known as the global centre for banking and finance in the north of Switzerland. The hotel has two restaurants, a modern steak house and one Italian, but neither are marketed as offering a fine dining experience.

Route twenty-six is the hotel's main restaurant where guests take breakfast or business lunch. In the evening, this restaurant is a steak restaurant. The restaurant can accommodate up to 95 guests and can be privatised for groups.

4 smaller rooms from 2-40 delegates are located on the 1st floor. These are suitable for either small training sessions or to be used as breakout rooms. All rooms can be reached by elevator, directly from the main entrance or parking garage. All meeting rooms are equipped with modern conferencing technology and have natural daylight.

The Club lounge is on the 10th floor and reserved for “Platinum reward” guests, or guests who pay a surcharge to an upgraded room type only. Club rooms and suites and the use of the Club lounge represent significant upgrades and are unlikely to be considered appropriate for the allocation or use by HCPs.

All rooms come with a modern and timeless interior such as a combination of wooden and tiled flooring, bright colours, and a lot of daylight.

Business amenities in bedrooms include Coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge, a working area, an ironing board, a hair dryer, Wi-Fi, safe in standard laptop size, international power sockets, flat TV, and windows that can be opened (with security latch).
