Location

Set in the most central location in Milan, the Rosa Grand overlooks the historic Piazza Fontana, behind the city’s imposing Duomo cathedral. Underground station Duomo is at 400 mt walking distance, the Central Railway Station at 5 km, Milan Linate Airport is located at 10 km and Milan Malpensa airport at 50 km.  For guests driving, the hotel is set in the congestion zone, it has good accessibility from the three major highways (A1-A7 and A8 ) located at 10 km from the hotel. A garage for 60 vehicles is available on premises.

Design

On entering the Rosa Grand hall, you can sense an ambiance with interiors that lend a warm, inviting atmosphere in an intimate and private setting. The hotel style is contemporary, with furniture and decorations all Made in Italy by local craftmanship.

Bedrooms

All  330 bedrooms are located in the main building and are appointed with fine contemporary decor. Throughout the Rosa Grand, you can appreciate the Milanese taste for style and design and a passion for artistry. In the newly refurbished rooms,  the dominant colour is peacock blue, with gold and pink accents, complemented by touches of sage green, ivory, and gold leaf. Some of the rooms enjoy views over the Duomo Cathedral. The hotel offers 236 entry-level/standard rooms  - size 22 sq. mt  (labeled as Deluxe), 77 Executive Rooms, size 30 sq.mt (labeled as Grand Deluxe), and 17 Suites size from 38 to 65 sq. mt.

Restaurants

Just as the Rosa Grand captures the essence of Milan through its taste for beauty and passion for artistry, so its restaurants and bar offer guests an eclectic experience and an original style. The Rosa Grand provides a gastronomic experience to satisfy every desire.  On the ground floor, there is the restaurant Sfizio, designed to host our individual guests, the  Roses Pizza & More, a new space dedicated to pizza, the most beloved Italian food in the world, the Grand Lounge & Bar with a soft contemporary  Italian style and the Roses Restaurant, where we serve morning breakfast. The Roses Restaurant is also the most appropriate private banqueting space for lunch & dinners.

Meeting spaces

The congress area is easily accessible directly after the hotel's main entrance in Piazza Fontana, where you can find at hall level the "Spazio Fontana" covering 210 sq. mt  Illuminated by natural light. This room is a multipurpose space designed to host dinners, receptions, exhibitions, and meetings.

Through the main stairs, the congress foyer & meeting spaces can be easily reached (elevators are located nearby). At -1 you can find 7 meeting rooms, namely the plenary room AIDA A+B ( consisting of two modular plenary rooms of 120 sq.mt each , when united they cover 265 sq.mt) with artificial light and 5 breakout rooms from 50 to 85 sq.mt. The Foyer AIDA +B is the most appropriate space for coffee breaks and /or standing buffet luncheons as well as the exhibition area. A second Bar area, named Bar dell'Opera is located nearby to serve the other meeting rooms or be used combined with the Foyer for events up to 300 delegates.

Because of its central location and excellent ratio of bedrooms/meeting spaces for up to 300 delegates,  Rosa Grand has a well-known reputation for hosting events in the Healthcare sector.  In the course of the years, the Conference & Banqueting team developed the expertise to organize meetings affecting all product life cycle whilst helping companies and agencies to comply with the Italian regulatory code of Farmindustria::advisory board and investigators meetings, product launches, kick-off and internal sales conference meetings, scientific association meetings, training & educational meetings. 

Fitness

The hotel offers a wellness area with Fitness, a relaxation area, and a solarium.

This is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Milan with a dedicated meeting floor which can be privatised. Sales and marketing refers to its location to the Duomo which is nearby but cannot be seen from the hotel.

The hotel offers hotel guests access to a fitness gym but there is no pool. It does have a sun lounge area and treatments can be booked however, these areas are well away from the meeting spaces and it does not market itself as having a spa or these as spa treatments.
