General Overview:
The Elite Hotel Academia is a business hotel in central Uppsala with 198 guest rooms, and eight conference venues for up to 180 people. 

Location:
Elite Hotel Hotel Academia is located in central Uppsala right next to the central train station, and easy access to the highway E4.

City central is just 5 mins walk and the University Hospital is a 10 min walk.

The train takes 18 min to Arlanda Airport and 36 min to Stockholm central station and departs every 30 min or less.

With the bus to the airport, it takes about 40 min.

Design:
The hotel opened in 2017 and is a modern high-rise building with a glass and gold-coloured panel exterior. Inside, the Swedish design and modern styling continue to provide a functional meeting venue.

Sleeping Rooms:
All 198 bedrooms are modernly furnished in the same colors, with free Wi-Fi, a working area, flat-screen television, a safe, an iron/board, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Located at floor 3-10.

Meeting Rooms:
Elite Hotel Academia houses a  conference centre with 8 modern facilities, all equipped with the latest technology. The largest room can accommodate 180 conference participants and is located on the ground floor along with most of the other premises, only one of the 8 conference rooms is located on the top floor at the hotel. Our biggest conference room can be used for private dinner for up to 98 persons. 

Restaurant:
Restaurant Nobel is an á closed restaurant for breakfast, conference lunch, and dinner both conference and private. The restaurant offers 200 seats and can be closed off for private events.

 “The Bishops Arms” is a gastro pub in typical English style and our top-floor restaurant Miss Voon serves a la carté with Asian tapas with Nordic flavours.

Experience:
Located in the area City central of Uppsala we are surrounded by medical companies, also the proximity to Uppsala University Hospital “Akademiska” has given us experience working with health and medical-associated meetings and events. 
 

Fitness:
The hotel offers guests a 'wellness' area which consists of a well-equipped gym with free weights, exercise machines, and a sauna.

Since the hotel is centrally located it is not far from the city's main attractions.

The hotel website does have include Gold Pacakges in the Offers section but the courses themselves are not situated near the hotel and require car transfers.
