OREA Congress Hotel Brno

General Overview:

The four-star OREA Congress Hotel Brno is a traditional business hotel in the Moravian capital with the city’s largest conference facilities, able to accommodate up to 1000 delegates supported by 370 bedrooms.

Location:

Located in front of the Brno Exhibition Center – Brno Trade Fairs (BVV).  It is situated only 5 km from the exit of the main Czech Republic highway and the D1 – main CR motorway, and D2 that connects with Vienna, and Bratislava.  Brno Airport is located 14 km from the hotel and c.15 – 20 minutes by car and an airport bus goes to the main railway station, and from the railway station, a tram no. 1 stops nearby the hotel.

The hotel offers 110 secure parking spaces with more places available in the car park located nearby or in the exhibition center.

Design:

The hotel was built together with the congress center and can be described as having the architectural design of 1980’s brutalism’ although it has since been fully refurbished internally in 2022 to modern urban style.

Restaurants:

There are two restaurants, including the main Atrium restaurant which serves as the location for buffet breakfast service, group lunches, and dinners for up to 320 seats. This can be fully privatised for dinner meetings. The a la carte Fairside restaurant and bar seats up to 110 seats and offers a separated seating area,

Bedrooms:

There are 370 guest rooms, equipped with working desks, toiletries, Wi-Fi internet connection, mobile phone inbuilt charger, coffee and tea making facilities, small fridge, with an empty minibar.  All Classic (Standard) room were completely renovated in 2025. Some rooms on the higher floor have balconies.

Meeting Space:

Meeting rooms are on the ground floor – lobby level and on the 1st floor and separated from public spaces.

The largest space, the ground floor Congress Hall has a dedicated entrance and can accommodate up to 700 delegates in theatre style with movable partitions and is connected to the multifunctional foyer, suitable for exhibitions or catering, including a hospitality desk and working desks. There are 4 naturally lit breakout rooms on the 1st floor, each for up to 70 pax in theatre style, connected with the business foyer, and suitable for informal business meetings or coffee breaks.

Experience:

The hotel has significant experience with conference organizations from the healthcare sector and co-operates with healthcare and medical associations, local hospitals, and universities, including clients of pharmaceutical and other healthcare-focused companies.

The hotel also works closely with the adjacent exhibition center and is the number one property for accommodation for all fairs and congress delegates.

Fitness:

There are no spa facilities in this hotel, only a gym with basic cardio fitness equipment.

Some travel websites list the hotel as having a sauna however, this is not accurate as guests have access to a modest gym only.
