Compliance Summary
General Overview:
Amsterdam Congress Center, operated by Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West, is a 4-star, contemporary, purpose-built hotel designed with business and healthcare events in mind.
Location:
The venue is part of the VEN complex in a commercial area northwest of Amsterdam’s city centre. Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station is just a 5-minute walk away, offering direct train links to Amsterdam Central Station (6 minutes) and Schiphol Airport (15 minutes) – a taxi will take similar time.
Bedrooms:
The Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West has a total of 476 bedrooms across 8 floors accessed by central lifts. Some rooms from the standard room category come with city views but these are located on top floors, so the standard rooms on this floor might be considered inappropriate for allocation to HCPs. All bedrooms have highly modern styling with bright colours and business focussed amenities such as a work desk, laptop safe and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
Meetings:
The Amsterdam Congress Center features meeting and event facilities across three floors, following light renovations completed in 2024 the venue offers more than 28,000 m² of flexible event space, including both indoor and outdoor areas suited to a wide range of meeting formats and group requirements. Across the venue, there are 20 modern meeting rooms, each named after a colour and featuring décor aligned with the hotel’s theme. The 680 m² Pearl Ballroom is at the core of the hotel, it can accommodate up to 708 delegates in theatre style, including 138 fixed seats on the first-floor balcony. The ballroom can also be divided into three equal sections of 235 seats each, with 46 fixed balcony seats per section.
Amsterdam Congress Centers’ first floor is fully dedicated to meeting space, with four distinct areas. Foyer 2 acts as a central point, separating twelve meeting rooms on one side, five on the other, and two additional rooms at the rear. These wings can be sectioned off to create private and secure areas, making them ideal for healthcare companies requiring confidentiality. The venue also includes a dedicated top-floor space suitable for formal dinners, boardroom-style meetings, or speaker events, offering a professional environment with city views.
Rooftop Private Event Space:
In addition, the hotel now features a rooftop private event space on the top floor. This area includes a fully equipped bar and a separate kitchen, making it an option for private dinners for up to 98 guests seated in rounds. The space is modern, bright, and modest, providing a comfortable and professional environment. Its design and location make it well suited for events that require more privacy, with pleasant city views from the top floor.
Restaurant and Bar:
The hotel’s Den Bar is located on the ground floor, modest in both size and décor, and adjoins the Den Restaurant, which shares the same level. The restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 300 people and serves as the main venue for guest breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. While designated areas within the restaurant can be reserved for group dining, the open-plan layout means the space cannot be made fully private. For larger groups, exclusive use of the restaurant may be available, subject to availability. Alternatively, private dining can be hosted in one of the hotel's enclosed banqueting spaces, which offer a more private setting.
Experience:
The venue regularly hosts meetings involving healthcare professionals, such as advisory boards, investigator meetings, and association-led events. The hotel team is well-versed in healthcare compliance requirements and takes the time to understand each organiser’s internal policies. This knowledge is applied from the enquiry stage through to planning and delivery.
Fitness Facilities:
Residential guests are offered complimentary access to a gym which comprises of fitness machines and free weights.
