The Park Plaza Riverbank hotel is a 4* contemporary and purpose-built residential conference hotel that leverages its location, on the Thames South Bank. Location:

Located on Albert Embankment on the South Bank of the River Thames. Accessible via Vauxhall Underground, National Rail and bus services. Delegates can reach the hotel by public transport, walking and cycling. There is no on-site parking. The hotel benefits from dedicated coach drop-off facilities for conferences and groups near the conference entrance.

Easily accessible from London Heathrow, Gatwick, and City airports, the venue benefits from good underground links with the nearest stations being Vauxhall, Waterloo, and Westminster.

Design:

Modern contemporary high-rise hotel with glass and contemporary architectural styling. Interiors feature modern décor, contemporary furnishings and purpose-built conference facilities throughout public areas, bedrooms and event space.

Bedrooms:

645 guestrooms and suites. Room categories can be represented as: Standard = Superior Rooms; Executive = Executive Rooms; Suites = Studio Suites, One Bedroom Suites and higher suite categories. Standard rooms typically include work desk, complimentary Wi‑Fi, laptop-compatible safe, tea and coffee facilities, television, air conditioning and ironing facilities. Premium amenities depend on room category and can normally be adjusted subject to operational requirements and all amenities can be removed upon request.

Meeting space:

The hotel offers 24 meeting rooms across 3 conference floors. The largest space is the Ballroom, accommodating up to 650 delegates theatre-style. This is the only space on this floor. Major event spaces include the Ballroom, Plaza Suites, Park Suites and City Suites.
Conference facilities feature dedicated entrances, separate lift access, spacious foyers andbreakout rooms. The venue is particularly well suited to conferences, healthcare meetings, training programmes, product launches, exhibitions and residential events. The Ballroom and Plaza Suites can be partitioned and exclusive areas can be fully privatised. Restaurant & Public spaces:

The hotel’s main restaurant is the Park Plaza brand, Chino Latino Restaurant & Bar, the location for guest breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's cuisine is Pan-Asian with international influences and has achieved AA Rosette recognition for quality but not ‘fine-dining’, but this is not actively marketed and. The restaurant and private dining areas can be used for corporate dinners and there is a semi-private area but not full privatisable. For fully confidential presentations, private meeting rooms are recommended. Additional outlets include the bar and River View Lounge for receptions and catered events. The River View lounge can be fully privatised.

River View Lounge on the 12th floor is available for exclusive hire for receptions and private events for up to approximately 150 guests. Chino Latino Bar provides networking and social gathering space. Event foyers with bars can be used for registrations, exhibitions
and receptions.

Experience:

The hotel actively markets to healthcare and life sciences meetings and holds a Healthcare Venue accreditation. Due it its location and ability to hold residential conferences for up to 500, the hotel has experience in hosting advisory boards, investigator meetings, sales meetings, training programmes, conferences, steering committee meetings and other internal and external pharmaceutical or life science events. 

It therefore works regularly with specialist healthcare agencies and benefits from London’s extensive network of hospitals, universities, research institutes and healthcare organisations along with being only a 10 minute walk from Guy & St. Thomas' Hospital. The hotel also has a number of signed MSA agreements with Healthcare clients due to its affiliation with Radisson Hotel Group.

Fitness:

The hotel ofers guests an on-site fitness centre with cardiovascular and resistance equipment plus free weights. An indoor swimming pool, sauna and wellness facilities are also available and managed by the hotel. The venue is not primarily marketed as a spa destination, although leisure and wellness facilities are available for guests. 

The hotel promotes its Thames riverside location near Westminster, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and other central London attractions to the general public.

Whilst the Chino Latino advertises as award-winning, the award is two (out of 5) AA Rosettes and underlines its quality rather than suggesting it is for fine dining.
