The hotel is a 4* contemporary and purpose-built residential conference hotel that leverages its location, close to the River Thames and Westminster, and views across the river towards the Houses of Parliament, as a principal attraction for individual guests and conference groups that require dedicated conference spaces.

Easily accessible from London Heathrow, Gatwick, and City airports, the venue benefits from good underground links with the nearest stations being Vauxhall, Waterloo, and Westminster.

Design:

The hotel is purpose-built with a mainly concrete and glass contemporary exterior. Inside has a mainly corporate feel to public areas with some technicoloured lighting to add style and theming.

Bedrooms:

The hotel offers 645 bedrooms including 294 Superior (entry-level) and 202 Executive (offering slightly bigger rooms, upgraded amenities such as bathrobes and slippers, and some offer Studio rooms and Suites (some with river views, balconies, and kitchenettes).

Meeting space:

Accessible via a dedicated Conference Entrance, there are a total of 24 meeting rooms – made up of large, medium, and small rooms with the largest room, the Ballroom able to accommodate up to 660 pax. The optimum number for an event where delegates need to sleep, meet and eat is c.500 although additional bedrooms could be provided by its nearby sister hotels.

Restaurant:

The hotel’s main restaurant is the Park Plaza brand, Chino Latino Restaurant & Bar, the location for guest breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Experience:

Due it its location and ability to hold residential conferences for up to 500, the hotel has experience in holding all meeting types and of all sizes including Sales Conferences, Product Launches, and Advisory Meetings. Importantly, the hotel is a short walk from Guys & St Thomas’s Hospital, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, and the Forensic Science Service.

Fitness:

The hotel offers residential guests, access to the 24-hour fitness centre with a modest sized Pool, Sauna, and steam room.

The hotel is situated on one side of a main road, overlooking the River Thames towards Westminster.

Whilst the Chino Latino advertises as award-winning, the award is two (out of 5) AA Rosettes and underlines its quality rather than suggesting it is for fine dining.
