The 19th-century building that houses Radisson Blu Grafton offers the perfect combination of an ideal location and comfortable facilities. Its proximity to Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, Charlotte Street, Marylebone High Street, and Soho provides excellent access. The rest of the UK and Europe can be explored via Euston Station and King’s Cross St Pancras, located within easy walking distance of the hotel.
From its early days as a home to nurses during the World War II Blitz, the building of Radisson Blu Grafton has long been a hub for the thriving community around it. Being within walking distance of Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, Charlotte Street, Marylebone High Street, Regent’s Park, and Soho, the hotel is also at a comfortable distance from London Euston and King’s Cross St Pancras stations, connecting travellers to the rest of the United Kingdom and Eurostar routes to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
The hotel’s event spaces have been audited by Healthcare Venues Ltd, an independent consultancy, meaning the meeting rooms meet the criteria suitable for healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals, featuring trained staff to accommodate the requirements of specialist meetings.
The property is home to 11 meeting and function rooms, all of which are equipped with modern technology and facilities for delegates to enjoy. The Warren Suite, the property’s largest event space, is a self-contained space that can accommodate up to 120 guests and has its own bar and restroom facilities. All meeting rooms are discreetly located on the lower ground floor of the hotel, providing privacy and confidentiality for delegates. The spaces are perfect for smaller meetings, such as advisory boards, speaker meetings, and training, as well as being appropriate for internal meetings, for both international and domestic attendees.
Radisson Blu Grafton’s 330 bedrooms include Individual, Standard, Premium and Family Rooms, as well as ten deluxe suites. Guests can also stream and share unrestrictedly with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi up to 150Mbps on unlimited devices, as well as enjoy 300 channels in multiple languages, available on the in-room Samsung TVs.
The service levels are consistent with a venue suitable for healthcare meetings and events. The staff-to-guest ratio is that of a business hotel and the service is warm and friendly without being that of a luxury or high-end venue.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel which was consistent in strength during our visit. A secure login process is required and set up for each event – Wi-Fi is included in the day delegate package.
This venue is in a destination that has a strong offering for both business and leisure visitors. As a result, people's perceptions of the venue may differ depending on how they use the location for meetings. This venue is located close to a number of local tourist attractions. These, in our opinion, have no bearing on the venue's meeting proposition, as there is a clear separation between the hotel site and of the attractions.
A 24-hour fitness suite is available for guests but there is no pool or spa facilities on property
