Location:

The Radisson Blu Frankfurt hotel is an eye catching, 4-star business hotel, and sits next to the A648 motorway that forms the route from the airport, which is 10 minutes away by car, to the city. If attending a congress at Messe Frankfurt, halls 8-11 are within walking distance, or you can take Tram 17 to the main entrance. The hotel is 18 floors high and there is extensive meeting space for plenary and breakout rooms over the lower floors accessible by lifts or escalator from near the hotel entrance, and lobby areas.
 

Design:

The hotel is modern and contemporary throughout, designed in a 4-star executive style with views to the motorway on one side and a view to the city on the other.

Sleeping Rooms:

The 434 sleeping rooms are bright and contemporary in design, with the use of warm dark flooring with light browns and cream décor throughout all room types. Enhanced rooms often relate to the higher floors rather than the furniture, amenities, or design.

There is free wi-fi throughout all rooms, as well as the now-standard flat-screen television, safe, iron/board, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Restaurant: 

The hotel’s Gaia Restaurant is the location for guest breakfasts and meeting lunches. For dinner meetings and complete privacy, a meeting room is required.

The restaurant design reflects other areas of the hotel with a modern, contemporary design with a mix of hard wood flooring or red patterned carpet and some red suede booths. The menu shows no attempt to describe the food or environment to be fine dining.
 

Fitness:

Whilst the hotel advertises a health club with fitness room and pool, facilities are on the 18th floor and away from public spaces includes meeting rooms.

Meeting space:

17 meeting rooms provide 1915 square meters of space with the largest room, the Dow Jones Ballroom, with a 4.5 meter high ceiling, able to accommodate 487 in theatre style. All meeting and breakout rooms are located on the lower floors and are naturally lit with air conditioning, with some offering access to an outdoor terrace .
 

There is no doubt that the hotel’s façade is eye catching from the outside but, once inside the venue the impression is of an executive styled buiness hotel. The venue’s location, next to the A648 motorway, amongst business and residential buildings supports the business positioning of the venue.
