General Overview
The Ruby Emma Hotel is a non rated design hotel with a small amount of meeting rooms providing the privacy required by the healthcare sector.
Location
The hotel is located in the suburb of Amsterdam, in Amstelkwartier, which is 5 metro stops away from city centre and therefore away from the city's tourist areas. Only 2 metro stops and 8 minutes taxi ride away is the RAI, host of numerous congresses from the Healthcare sector. In addition to that, you will find also the next hospital only 8 minutes taxi ride away. For delegates driving the hotel offers 75 parking spaces, managed by ParkBee, an external company. Coaches may drop off and pick up but there are no bus parking bays.
Design
As a design hotel, the architecture is modern and contemportary, and the first hotel in Europe to be awarded LEED Platinum status for leadership in Enegery and Environmental Design. A global symbol for sustainable achievement. Internally, the use of mid-century modern and pre-loved pieces provide bright, fresh tones that showcase natural materials, the result of reusing and recycling.
Meeting Space
There are 13 meeting rooms on the 1st and 2nd, with additional breakouts on the 20th floors. The maximum capacity is 65 in theatre style and therefore ideally for Product Launches as well as Advisory Boards but also Product Trainings. Exclusivity of areas can be offered, on request. Access to rooms are from the hotel lobby where you can also access Emma Workspaces, providing hot desks and co-working tables.
Bedrooms
There are 291 sound proofed sleeping rooms spread across the 2nd to 19th floors Standard rooms come with work desk, laptop safe, complimentary high-speed wi-fi. There are 6 room types which includes 240 standard rooms, 40 executive rooms of which can be considered appropriate for the allocation to HCPs. On top of that there are 11 junior suites.
Restaurant
The bar is where guest breakfast is served for up to 200 and can be privatised on request. Lunch and Dinner can be served in the meeting area which will be organised by an external caterer of your choice. On the 21st floor is the external Restaurant Ventuno, serving Italian cuisine.
Experience
The Ruby Emma hotel Amsterdam is suitable for healthcare meetings from internal producat trainings to external advisory boards and product launches and with its close location to the RAI, can be used for congress accommodation.
Fitness
There are no fitness or wellness facilities at the hotel.
The hotel website follows the standard of Ruby Hotels with the main focus of the imagery and language towards business and leisure guests. This venue is in a destination that has a strong offering for both business and leisure visitors. As a result, people's perceptions of the venue may differ depending on how they use the location for meetings. This venue is located close to a number of local tourist attractions. These, in our opinion, have no bearing on the venue's meeting proposition, as there is a clear separation between the hotel site and of the attractions.
In addition, there are some imagery placed for Ruby Emma Hotel Amsterdam shown from the Restaurant Ventuno on the 21st floor with it's panoramic view. This doesn't belong to the hotel.
