General Overview
The London Hilton Canary Wharf is a 4-star business hotel in the heart of London’s financial district, offering meetings and event facilities with a maximum capacity of 400 people. Meetings and events make up a significant portion of the hotel’s revenue.
On weekends, we also attract leisure guests. Our diverse range of facilities caters to both business and leisure segments.
Location
Canary Wharf is in the City of London’s Financial District and the hotel is surrounded by commercial buildings.
Life science companies are increasingly moving to Canary Wharf, transforming it into a significant hub for innovation and research and the area is witnessing rapid growth. The establishment of this hub is attracting prominent life sciences and healthcare organizations.
Canary Wharf is located away from the city’s popular tourist areas and sights.
The DLR (Docklands Light Railway) South Quay station is a 3-minute walk), and 8 minutes to the Jubilee Line Canary Wharf Station which connects to the city. The new Elizabeth Line is a 10-minute walk and takes only 5 minutes to reach the ExCeL Exhibition Center or 10 minutes to Bond Street in Central London and 45 to London’s Heathrow Airport
For delegates driving, the hotel has 25 chargeable Parking Spaces on a First come first serve basis. For group travel, coaches can park outside with 2 bays available.
Design
Hilton London Canary Wharf boasts a modern contemporary exterior décor and styling. The venue's architecture combines elements of sleek glass and concrete, reflecting the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of Canary Wharf. Its design presents a sense of sophistication and urban elegance, complementing its location within London's bustling business district.
Its interior style combines modern contemporary with elements of comfort and warmth. In public areas, meeting rooms, and bedrooms, guests will experience a blend of modern design and classic touches, that create a welcoming atmosphere.
Meeting Space
The hotel has 10 newly refurbished conference and training facilities on the 1st floor, with state-of-the-art technology and a business lounge. Access is via hotel lift and private hire of the meeting floor can be provided on request.
Quayside 1 (120) and 2 (120), when combined create the hotel’s largest meeting space and can accommodate 240 in classroom style. Outside the Quayside Suite is a private, pre-reception area ideal for a 'meet and greet', coffee break area, or as an exhibition space holding up to 12 exhibitor stands. The foyer has a manned cloakroom, cash bar, occasional seating areas and partial Canary Wharf estate and river views.
As breakouts Meeting Rooms 1 - 7 can accommodate a range of meetings for 10 to 56 in classroom style.
The Executive Boardroom hosts up to 12 people with a large, fixed table for an executive meeting.
With the variety of meeting space sizes, meeting types, specific to Pharma and Life Sciences Clients are well suited here. from Symposia, Product Launch, training, and Sales Meetings to clinical trial meetings including advisory boards and investigator meetings.
Bedrooms
The hotel's 282 bedrooms are split across 13 floors (2nd to the 14th floor) and in 7 categories
A key feature is the spaciousness of bedrooms, with our smallest starting from 33 sqm and going up.
Business amenities in standard rooms include a Work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi. Standard rooms do not include Bathrobes and Nespresso Machines but come with an empty fridge, not a mini-bar.
Restaurant
Cinnamon is the name of the hotel’s ground floor main restaurant, what floor is it on? :
Serving Modern International Cuisine it seats 180 people. Private areas can be reserved but for dinner meetings where 100% privacy is needed, a meeting room is required.
For larger dinners, the Quayside Suite can be used with a max capacity of 270 people
Experience
The hotel is part of the Hilton’s global MSA contracting bundle and regularly hosts Meetings, Events and midsize conferences. Particularly when companies attend large congresses at ExCeL
Fitness
The hotel offers hotel guests a fitness gym on the second floor, (meeting space is on the first) with free weights and exercise machines, both?
There is no spa but a sauna and Steam room are available.
Canary Wharf is listed under the Hilton Hotel and Resorts brand but is not a resort-style property. This is a true business hotel located in the financial district of London.
It is a popular meeting hotel but sales and marketing focusses on leisure aspects to attract the weekend leisure market.
