General Overview

Butlins is a multiple purpose leisure resort hosting family holidays, adult only weekends and large conferences and events.

With the capability to hold meetings for up to 2000 and 1364 bedrooms, large residential conferences are well catered for here.  Part privatisation or full privatisation can be arranged on request.

Location

Butlins is located on the seafront at Bognor Regis. You walk out of our resort and straight onto the promenade.

For delegates and guests driving, there are 1500 parking spaces and coach bays for group travel.

Design

The main entrance to Butlins is characterised by a large contemporary façade supported by a variety of buildings with exteriors that are a combination of glass, steel and colourful panels that create a vibrant look.

In general, Butlins combines modern and themed decorations with playful and vibrant designs to create an engaging environment.

Meeting Space

There are multiple meeting spaces with the largest, Studio 36 that is a multipurpose, standalone venue. Pillar free, carpeted and can accommodate 2000 in theatre style.

Adjacent to the main conference area are smaller breakout roms designed for more intimate meetings, brainstorming or group discussions.

Butlins also has other dedicated event spaces including the Skyline Pavilion which hosts large scale events and exhibitions. The resort also includes several theatres and auditoriums that can be used for keynote speaches and presentations.

Bedrooms

Butlins 1364 bedrooms are spread across the Ocean, Wave and Shoreline hotels. All bedrooms include business amenities including a work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi.

Restaurant

Butlins offers a variety of catering outlets across the resort with a combined seating for over 1000. These include an American Diner, Pizza Restaurant, a pub style Inn, and a grill. Plus Costa Coffee, Subway, Chopstix.

Fitness

Butlins do not have a gym or fitness facilities but do have a themed family pool designed for families on holiday. Spa facilities and treatments are available but not offered as part of conferences and event packages.

The Spa is in the Ocean Hotel and Splash, the indoor pool, is within a stand-alone building.

From a star rating perspective, Butlin’s 3-star rating would generally be seen as appropriate to host HCP meetings. With regards to sponsored HCP meetings, as a leisure resort, its facilities is likely to be seen as an attraction to attend a meeting here. 

With a large amount of meeting spaces and bedrooms, meeting types such as sales conferences are well suited to Butlins facilities and a regular event here.
