General Overview

The fully refurbished Madrid Marriott Hotel Princesa Plaza is a 4-star urban hotel ideally designed to accommodate business, congress, events, and leisure segments, providing a comprehensive and flexible solution for group stays and
corporate needs.

Location 

Located in a commercial area of Madrid's city centre, close to, but not overlooking tourist attractions. It sits on the Calle de la Princesa, an extension of the popular Gran Vía

Madrid's Barajas Airport is a 22-minute transfer away and for those attending congresses in Madrid, !FEMA is 19 minutes away.

For delegates driving the hotel has 200 spaces, managed by an external company.

There is space for up to 3 coaches but only to drop off and pick up delegates for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Design

Built in 1976, the exterior façade reflects the architectural style of the time, featuring a predominantly concrete and glass structure.

The interior is best described as cosmopolitan, elegant, and bright, with a modern design throughout.

Meeting Space

The hotel boasts over 1,200 m² of flexible meeting space, with rooms featuring natural light that can be adapted to a wide range of event formats, from board meetings to medium-sized conferences and corporate events. A central lobby
on the first floor connects all the meeting rooms and provides an ideal setting for coffee breaks, networking and exhibitions.

Bedrooms

The hotel has 409 bedrooms and 14 suites across two towers, 14 bedroom floors in one and 7 in the parallel tower.

Bedrooms come with a work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi, minibar, slippers, and bathrobe.

On request, the Nespresso machines and the bathrobes can be removed for HCP groups.

Restaurant

The first floor “La Chata” a la carte is the hotel's main restaurant and serves Mediterranean and international cuisine for up to 80 guests. It cannot be privatised so for HCP functions a meeting room is required.

The hotel also has the Casa Pozas buffet restaurant and La Mimosa Cocktail bar.

Experience

The hotel has experience in hosting HCP groups for Medical congresses such as ESMO, EHA, EADV Congress, and Pharma meetings from several laboratories (Astrazeneca, Lilly, Abbvie, Janssen, etc)

Fitness

The hotel offers guests an externally managed Holiday Gym with free weights and exercise machines. There is an indoor pool on -2 floor

The hotel is located in central Madrid on a busy main road in a commercial area, not near the city's tourist sights.

There are no spa facilities and the indoor pool is at -2 and would not provide a distraction for meetings being held on the first or second floors.
