General Overview
The 4-star Melia Paris la Défense is a business hotel sitting in the heart of Paris’ financial district with 11 meeting rooms accommodating meetings to 400 supported by 364 bedrooms.
Location
Located in the La Défense business district, the hotel is 3 km from the city’s main tourist areas. The nearest metro station, Esplanade de La Défense, is only a 1-minute walk away and provides direct access to all parts of Paris, including Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, in under 30 minutes. Charles de Gaulle Airport can be reached in 35 minutes, and the Palais des Congrès — a key venue for many healthcare congresses — is just 10 minutes away.
For delegates arriving by car, the hotel offers 28 parking spaces. For group travel, two coach bays are available upon request (drop in and drop off only).
Design
The hotel is 19-storey’s high and the describe is ‘avant-garde’ and present a modern contemporary glass façade alluding to a design led styling that is continued inside.
Meeting Space
The hotel offers 11 meeting rooms spread across three dedicated meeting floors, accommodating groups ranging from intimate boardrooms for 8 to expansive conference rooms for up to 400 in theatre style.
Meeting floors can be privatized upon request.
Bedrooms
The hotel offers 364 rooms across the 2nd to the 18th floors, each equipped with a work desk, laptop safe, tea and coffee making facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
For healthcare professional (HCP) meetings, mini-fridges, bathrobes, and Nespresso machines can be removed upon request.
Restaurant
Le Miroir is the hotel’s main restaurant, with a seating capacity of 120. It serves Mediterranean cuisine and can be privatized upon request; however, for dinner meetings, a dedicated meeting room is recommended.
The hotel also features Le Reflet, a restaurant accommodating groups of up to 60 people, and the Foyer Takis, located on level -1 in front of the meeting rooms where coffee breaks and finger lunches can be offered. While Foyer Takis has no natural daylight, it can host up to 200 guests in a finger buffet setup.
The Lobby Bar – The Place (ground floor) can accommodate up to 100 guests in a cocktail setup, while the Skyline Bar, located on the 19th floor and offering panoramic views of Paris, can host up to 150 guests

The hotel has played host to both internal and external meeting types.
Fitness
The hotel provides guests with a gym on the 2nd floor with free weights and exercise machines.
There is no pool and spa treatments are not offered
The hotel presents an impressive glass designed appearance and uses elevated language e.g. luxury / inspired chic, to describe its facilities but these references are limited.
Being 19-storeys high, the hotel bar and 18th floor meeting rooms, do offer views of the Paris skyline. No doubt impressive, the main tourist areas of Paris are 3 kms away.
