The Apex City of London Hotel is a 4* hotel with a mix of facilities and services for the business and leisure markets with 209 bedrooms and 3 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 80 in theatre style.

Location
The hotel is located on Seething Lane in the city’s financial district, a quiet street compared to some of the busier roads nearby, close to, but not overlooking the Thames and well known tourist attractions.
The hotel is 5 minutes from Fenchurch Street tube and train station which connects the hotel with London’s Heathrow (57mns) Gatwick (51mns) and City (32mns)
The nearest underground station is Circle and District lines Tower Hill station which is a 5 minutes’ walk and Tower Millennium Pier is 8 minutes.
The DLR station of Tower Gateway is 8 minutes away and connects with London’s Excel in 23 minutes, relevant for those attending congresses held there.
The hotel does not have its own parking but for groups, coach parking is available at Trinity Square, a 1-minute walk away.
Design
The main entrance is marked by a modern canopy that extends over the sidewalk.
The contemporary façade is one of glass, metal and stone, characterized by clean lines and a sleek, minimalist design and is modern and understated, blending in with the urban surroundings of the financial district.
Inside the modern, sophisticated aesthetic continues with a contemporary design that sets a welcoming tone with marble floors, a neutral color palette accented by warmer tones and soft lighting.
Meeting Space
All 3 Meeting and events spaces are on the hotel’s ground floor with one large conference room for up to 90 theatre style or 40 cabaret style.
There are two smaller meeting rooms for up to 18 boardroom (one of which has natural daylight). Both have hybrid facilities.
These spaces suit smaller conferences, board meetings and private dinners that can be privatised
Bedrooms
The hotels 209 rooms are spread across 7 floors and business amenities include a work desk, laptop safe /tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi, iron, ironing board and mineral water, and Bathrobes.
Restaurant
The Lampery, on the Ground floor, serves British cuisine and seats 172.
For private dinner meetings a meeting room is required.
Experience
The hotel has experience in hosting a number of meetings from pharma companies, particularly internal, non-HCP meetings.
Fitness
The hotel’s ‘Fitness suite’ can be found on the basement level, underneath the meeting spaces, and provides inhouse guests only, with free weights and exercise machines available - there is no pool and spa treatments are not available.
The hotel is officially rated as 4-star and its website and external marketing is business focused with external travel sites positioning the hotel at the higher end.
Located on the financial district of the city, the hotel is close to, but not overlooking well known tourist sites which the leisure market would find attractive. In contrast the hotel has easy and quick access to London’s major airports, train, tube stations and the city’s major congress centers.
