General Overview
The Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher´s is a 5-star hotel located in the center of Brussels, with a mix of facilities and services for the leisure and business markets, with 14 meeting spaces accommodating up to 600 in theatre style.
Location:
The hotel is located in the heart of Brussels and while they are close, it does not overlook the city’s main tourist attractions.
Zaventem Brussels Airport is 23 minutes away by car or taxi or 38 by public transport. Bruxelles midi is under 10 minutes by car/taxi or public transport and the station of Metro Louise is a 5-minute walk away.
For delegates driving, the main E411 is 15 minutes away and 600 public parking spaces are nearby. For group travel, coaches can park outside but advance notification is required.
Access to the square Brussels is 12 mins by car, taxi, or public transport and Brussels Expo is 32 mins by public transport.
Design
As a historical and architectural landmark, the hotel’s exterior presents elegant stonework with intricate detailing, large windows, balconies, and an ornate entrance canopy.
Inside, the style blends modern contemporary elegance with historic touches. Public areas and meeting rooms feature sophisticated decor and state-of-the-art amenities, while bedrooms offer a mix of comfort, classic design, and modern conveniences.
Meeting Space
The hotel’s 14 meeting spaces are divided between 2 dedicated meeting floors, the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, is the ballroom of 550m2, able to accommodate 600pax in theatre and can host business events of all types and sizes, including dinners, conferences and meetings, and product presentations. The medium and small rooms are suitable for meetings and private dinners.
On the first floor are the 13 other medium and smaller meeting spaces.
All 14 spaces can be offered for exclusive use as there are no public areas on these floors.

Bedrooms
There are 6 bedroom floors, 1st to the 6th, and standard (“superior”) rooms come with a work desk, laptop safe, Nespresso coffee machine and tea making facilities, minibar, water bottle per guest per night, complimentary wi-fi, and a mini fridge, bathrobes and Nespresso machines.
Restaurant
The hotel offers 2 restaurants on the ground floor, the Loui Bar & Café Wiltcher’s Restaurant and La canne en Ville, a 1-star Michelin-rated restaurant.
Café Wiltcher seats up to 520 people and is the location for guest breakfasts and can be privatised on request.
La Canne en Ville offers gourmet French cuisine serving fresh, seasonal ingredients and seats x22.
The Loui Bar and Restaurant seats 75 and offers an international menu with a touch of Belgian flair.
All meeting spaces can be privatised for dinner or meetings with catering. Menus in private areas are from seasonal menus.
Experience
The hotel has previously hosted internal healthcare meetings, trainings and workshops and has a signed MSA with healthcare specialist agencies.
Fitness
The hotel provides guests with a fitness gym with cardio and weight-lifting machines.
Hotel guests also have access to the Aspria spa, located under the hotel and is managed by an external company and not included in the room rates.
The hotel is officially rated as 5-star and sales & marketing materials do not hide from this. It is part of the Steigenberger brand, Icon buildings portfolio.
Its extensive meeting facilities, with the ballroom able to accommodate 600 in theatre style, make it possible to host day meetings although a robust business justification may be required for those meetings involving HCPs.
