The Clermont Victoria

The Clermont Victoria is a 4-star hotel that accommodates a varied mix of both leisure and business/corporate markets with 9 conference rooms and 384 bedrooms.

Location

The hotel is on the busy A3214, located next to London Victoria Train station, accessed by a door that leads into the station, so Victoria tube station is a 1-minute walk away. Victoria connects to London’s Gatwick Airport via Express Train in 30 minutes.

The station is to one side of the building with commercial and residential buildings to other sides. Being in central London typically, tourist attractions, are within walking distance but not in the immediate vicinity.

The hotel does not have a car park or any allocated parking for either car or coaches.

Design

The hotel is a historic, Grade II listed building with Victorian architecture. The interior was fully refurbished in 2020 and respects the original features but with a traditional feel with many modern touches across the building.

Meeting Spaces

The hotel's 9 meeting rooms are all located on the 1st floor along main corridors and whilst rooms have a more traditional feel, they have modern touches i.e., all have wall mounted plasma screens apart from the largest room which has ceiling mounted LCD and drop-down screen.

The largest room can host up to 200 guests (theater style) or 120 for banquets. Smaller rooms are ideal for intimate meetings of 10–50 people.

These hotel smaller meeting rooms with all but 3 for less than 15 in a fixed boardroom set up. The other 3 rooms have flexible set ups, and The Orient Suite has an interconnecting ante room. We are unable to offer exclusive use of a specific area for the meeting rooms.

Bedrooms

The hotels 348 rooms are spread across 7-bedroom floors, and Standard rooms come equipped with a work desk, safe, fridge (empty) Nespresso machine and tea making facilities, and complimentary WiFi.

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The ground floor Soak is the hotel’s main restaurant and is used for guest breakfast, private lunches, or dinners for up to 100. It serves a mix of Chinese dim sum and gastro style food. It can seat 100, or 200 for a reception when hired for more informal private events (fixed seating). The Reunion bar can be used for receptions up to 50.

Experience

The hotel has experience in hosting health care companies using the hotel for events from 50 guest to smaller meetings for 5 in a boardroom setting.

Fitness

The hotel has a small gym on the 7th floor.

The hotel’s location in Victoria means it has excellent access by train, tube and road.

Being in central London, tourist areas are never far away but these are not in the immediate vicinity.
