On-site parking includes 200 spaces managed by the hotel. Coach drop-off is available directly at the main entrance, with designated parking located two minutes away by vehicle. The environment supports a focused business setting while offering scenic views without promoting tourism as a primary attraction.

Design

Valamar Lacroma follows an "Archi-nature" design concept, blending the hotel with its natural surroundings through the use of stone, wood, and glass. The interior is minimalistic and modern, employing natural materials throughout its public, meeting, and guest areas. 

Meeting Spaces

The venue comprises 11 meeting rooms across two floors. The ground floor houses the Elafiti Hall, which accommodates up to 1200 delegates in a theatre setting and can be subdivided into four separate rooms of 250 delegates each. A 300 sqm foyer complements this space. The first floor includes a 1000 sqm multifunctional exhibition area, which can be converted into seven breakout rooms while retaining 530 sqm for exhibition purposes. All conference facilities have a separate entrance and can be fully privatised. The hotel is equipped to support association conferences, pharmaceutical meetings, corporate events, and exhibitions. Outdoor options such as the Elafiti plateau and Orsula terrace can also be utilised for large professional gatherings.

Bedrooms

Valamar Lacroma offers 385 standard rooms and 16 suites across five floors. Each room is equipped with a work desk, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Mini-bars can be emptied on request. Room categorisation aligns with business-travel needs and supports compliance with healthcare event standards. 

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The primary dining area is Mediterraneo Restaurant, located on the ground floor, offering a Mediterranean-inspired buffet with 360 indoor and 200 outdoor seats. It can be privatised for lunch functions, while dinner events requiring exclusivity are directed to Elafiti Hall. Additional venues include the Momenti Restaurant (up to 70 guests), Nocturno Bar (standing functions up to 250), Orsula Terrace (standing up to 1200), and the Elafiti plateau (1000 sqm, suitable for marquees or receptions). All named areas are suitable for private hire. A poolside outlet, Mezzino Bar, serves light meals and is not used for business events.

Valamar Lacroma Hotel has a well-established history of hosting healthcare-related meetings, including European medical conferences as approved by CVS (Conference Vetting System), pharmaceutical stand-alone meetings, and scientific events ranging from 20 to 1200 attendees. Although no MSA agreements are currently in place, the hotel collaborates with Dubrovnik University and the local hospital, indicating engagement with the life sciences and healthcare community.

Fitness

The hotel offers comprehensive wellness facilities, including a gym with free weights and machines, a pool, and spa treatments managed internally. These are located on the opposite side of the property from the meeting areas and are accessed by separate elevators, ensuring clear separation between leisure and business zones. The hotel does not market itself as a spa destination.

Valamar Lacroma Hotel is officially rated as a 4-star property. It does not promote proximity to tourist attractions for meeting incentives and avoids entertainment-focused marketing. Live music (e.g., piano or acoustic performances) is occasionally hosted at the main hotel bar during evening hours (18:00–21:00).

The venue markets itself as an award-winning business hotel, having received the World Travel Award for Leading Business Hotel in Croatia from 2014 to 2020. These awards should be noted for compliance considerations, though no luxury-leaning language or entertainment-based descriptors are prominent in its marketing.
