Hilton Stockholm Slussen is a business hotel with a strong focus on meetings and conference services. Comprising three interconnected buildings, the venue features distinct access points for accommodation and meeting facilities, ensuring high levels of privacy. Meetings and events represent a core aspect of the hotel’s operations and account for a significant proportion of its annual business.
Location
Hilton Stockholm Slussen is situated in the central part of Stockholm, positioned within a mixed-use neighbourhood of residential and commercial facilities. It offers views of the city’s historic Old Town and waterfront. The hotel benefits from proximity to public transport links including metro, commuter trains, buses, and ferries. Stockholm Central Station is within walking distance, and the Arlanda Express (airport rail link) is accessible within two metro stops. The hotel manages 45 private parking spaces and provides a coach pick-up and drop-off point directly outside the entrance.
Design
The venue features a modern, Scandinavian-inspired design throughout its public areas, meeting rooms, and bedrooms. Key materials include marble, light woods, and glass, with panoramic windows allowing significant daylight across all buildings. Public areas maintain a neutral, professional tone. The layout facilitates high levels of privacy, with dedicated lifts and entrances for meeting guests, and separation between accommodation and conference areas.
Meeting Spaces
Hilton Stockholm Slussen offers 16 meeting rooms spread across two dedicated conference floors. The largest space is an auditorium accommodating up to 300 delegates in theatre style with writing boards integrated into the seating and a 15-metre stage. Six adjacent breakout rooms (Zeus, Poseidon, Chaos, Cronos, Atlas, Hades) are located on the same level. Each measures 41 sqm, supporting theatre and boardroom setups. The lower level includes two 120-capacity rooms, bringing the total to 19 breakout options. Meeting floors can be booked exclusively, and all rooms are equipped with AV essentials, ergonomic chairs, and complimentary refreshments.
Bedrooms
The hotel has 289 rooms across eight floors (levels 1–8). Room types include Standard (labelled Queen Standard), Deluxe, Deluxe View, Executive, and Junior Suites. Standard rooms provide business essentials: work desks, laptop safes, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. Bathrooms across all categories are marble finished. Executive rooms include a Nespresso machine and access to the Executive Lounge, which offers snacks and beverages.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
Panorama Restaurant, located on the lower conference floor, serves Nordic and international fusion cuisine and has a capacity of 300. It can be fully privatised for lunch or dinner, though full acoustic privacy is limited due to an open ceiling. The second restaurant, Eken Restaurant & Terrace, is on the lobby floor and can be completely privatised for up to 100 guests seated or 180 for standing receptions. Other venues include the Galleria, a panoramic-view lounge adjacent to the auditorium (privatisable for mingling events), and the Golden Alley on the lower floor, which is suitable for catering and breakouts but cannot be privatised.
Experience
The venue is experienced in supporting meetings for healthcare and life science sectors. It has hosted a range of healthcare event types including sales meetings, training sessions, board meetings, and congress-linked receptions. The venue layout, privacy, and versatile floorplans make it particularly suitable for corporate and internal meetings with complex agendas.
Fitness
The fitness facility includes cardio machines and free weights and is situated near the guestroom area. There is no spa, swimming pool, or wellness centre, and the hotel does not market itself as a wellness destination. There are no additional businesses such as gift shops or salons on-site.
Hilton Stockholm Slussen holds a four-star classification but does not actively promote this rating. The venue avoids excessive luxury branding; however, it does note being named as the leading international hotel brand in Stockholm for three consecutive years. While words such as “premium” and “elegant” appear in internal descriptions of restaurant spaces, the hotel refrains from promoting entertainment or tourist-focused features and does not advertise live music or DJ services as standard offerings.
