General Overview
Radisson RED Brussels is a business-focused hotel located in the heart of the European Quarter.
The property offers a combination of meeting facilities and comfortable accommodation suited to business travellers, and attracts a significant number of group bookings linked to the nearby European Parliament.
Location
Radisson RED Brussels is located in the city centre, within the European Quarter of Brussels, directly adjacent to the European Parliament. The immediate surroundings are commercial and business-oriented, with limited emphasis on tourism despite the proximity of the Parliament as a visitor site. Delegates can arrive sustainably via train or metro, or on foot from nearby EU institutions. The hotel shares parking facilities with other hotels in the district, with no fixed allocation of spaces.
Coaches may drop off and pick up guests directly in front of the hotel. The venue is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Brussels Central Station and 30 minutes by taxi from Brussels Airport.
Design
The hotel’s exterior design is modern, presenting a clean and discreet appearance suitable for its professional setting. Internally, the décor reflects Radisson RED’s lifestyle branding, with influences from Belgian history and design. The layout allows for discrete access to meeting areas, which are grouped on the ground floor, minimising disruption from public spaces.
Meeting Spaces
The hotel offers three meeting rooms, all located on the ground floor in one wing. The largest, Studio 3, accommodates up to 70 delegates in theatre style with front projection. Two smaller meeting rooms are designed for board-style or training sessions. All spaces feature natural daylight from large windows, with views to the street. The meeting floor is self-contained, offering flexibility for exclusive hire and privacy.
Bedrooms
The hotel has 149 bedrooms across six floors (2nd to 7th). Categories include Standard, Superior, and Suite options. All rooms include a work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, laptop-sized safe, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, and a mini fridge (which may be emptied at an extra cost). Suites offer additional space and amenities.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
OUIBar + KTCHN, located on the ground floor, is the main restaurant, serving Belgian and French cuisine with seating for 86 guests. It can be 100% privatised for dinner meetings or group functions, ensuring confidentiality. A communal space is available for coffee breaks and informal standing lunches or dinners but is not suitable for private meetings. A mini-market in the lobby provides grab-and-go snacks for guests. Public areas also include the OUIBar + KTCHN lounge and communal spaces, which may be reserved for private hire.
Experience
The hotel's meeting facilities are aligned to support smaller-scale corporate meetings, including board meetings, training sessions, and panel discussions, providing appropriate compliance standards for confidential events. It currently does not have master service agreements with healthcare agencies or established links with healthcare or life science clusters in Brussels.
Fitness
A gym is located on level -1, equipped with both free weights and exercise machines. A sauna is also available on the same level. The hotel does not promote itself as a wellness or spa destination and does not offer spa treatments. No additional leisure facilities are present.
Radisson RED Brussels is officially rated as a 4-star property and is marketed as a 'lifestyle' hotel. It does not advertise live entertainment or award-winning facilities, and it does not promote proximity to tourist attractions as a key selling point.
