House of People is a dedicated meeting and conference venue in Stockholm, Sweden, designed to accommodate professional gatherings, corporate meetings, and large-scale congresses. The venue focuses on providing a business-friendly environment with extensive meeting facilities.

Location

House of People is centrally located within walking distance of Stockholm Central Station, just a 6-minute walk away. The nearest motorway, E4, is approximately 9.5 km from the venue. Stockholm Arlanda Airport is accessible within 40 minutes by car or taxi and 18 minutes via the Arlanda Express train from Stockholm Central Station, while Skavsta Airport is approximately 90 minutes away. The venue does not have its own parking but is surrounded by street parking and two nearby parking garages. There is a designated coach drop-off and pick-up area.

Design

House of People is a purpose-built conference venue with a contemporary architectural style, designed to prioritise functionality and flexibility for corporate and healthcare-related events. Its internal design is optimised for professional gatherings, offering flexible meeting spaces with modern furnishings that accommodate both large and small meetings.

The main entrance serves as the primary access point to all meeting areas, and the layout ensures clear pathways and sufficient privacy for confidential business discussions.

Meeting Spaces

House of People offers 36 meeting rooms across four floors, catering to various event formats. The largest space, the Congress Hall, accommodates up to 1,500 delegates in theatre style. Meeting room configurations include boardroom (2–40 guests), classroom (34–1,500 guests), theatre (22–1,500 guests), dinner rounds (400 guests with 88 tables), cabaret (20–40 guests), U-shape (20–40 guests), and café-style reception (maximum 110 guests). All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and basic AV technology, with some also featuring natural daylight and hearing loop systems.

Bedrooms

The venue does not offer on-site accommodation.

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The venue's primary restaurant, Seasons, serves lunch and dinner with a seasonal menu and can accommodate up to 400 guests. It can be fully privatised for exclusive events. Café Markelius, which offers breakfast and lunch, has a seating capacity of 110 guests but cannot be fully privatised. For networking and professional gatherings, the venue provides Upper and Lower Congress Halls and five passageways, which are suitable for mingling and exhibition setups.
