General Overview
World Forum is a full service convention centre with 50 years of experience in organizing events. The unique combination of a multifunctional auditorium, 35 breakout rooms and 12.000 square meter of exhibition space.
Location
World Forum is located between the beach and the city centre of the Hague, the administrative capital of the Netherlands. Only 30 min drive from two international airports, and with excellent train connections to major European cities like Brussels, Paris, London, and Frankfurt, the Hague is one of the most accessible regions in Europe.
Design
World Forum was designed by architect Jacobus Johannes Pieter Oud in the style of Dutch functionalism, which was ultramodern in the 1960s. Officially opened in 1969, the building was originally known as ‘het Nederlands Congresgebouw’
Meeting Space
World Forum is a compact venue with all meeting rooms situated around the central heart of the building: the Atrium. On the ground floor, a brand new Expo Foyer with a total of 17.500 rentable square meters, gives an open and bright ambiance working as a networking space. Then, King Willem Alexander can accommodate up to 2161 delegates. Different capacities make it easier to create more intimate spaces.

World Forum forms part of the Convention Dot; a partnership between Novotel World Forum, Marriott The Hague, Leonardo Royal Hotel, and B aparthotels which offer 765 hotel rooms within a 3 min walk.
Catering
At World Forum The Hague, menus have been compiled by Richard de Leth, a vitality food expert specialised in health and wellbeing.
Sustainability
World Forum is very active in the field of sustainability. We have several certificates (ISO 20121 and Golden Green Key) and we are member of the UN Global Compact and MVO Nederland. Our sustainability policy is divided into five programs: Think Green, Think People, Think Local, Think Ethic and Think Safe. Within these programs annual goals are set and various initiatives are developed.

We are leaders in the field of Safety & Security, invest in the vitality of our team and our guests, we are very committed to sustainability and do everything we can to transfer our knowledge and invest in educational projects at all times.
This is a multipurpose venue which hosts conferences, exhibitions, concerts and other pay to enter leisure entertainment events. This will be reflected in sales and marketing messaging and in our opinion should not distract bookers looking to use the venue for healthcare meetings and events.
