General Overview:

Located in central Europe, to the south of the Netherlands and close to the borders of Belgium and Germany, the De Ruwenberg Hotel is a 4-star business and convention hotel with a significant amount of meeting spaces consisting of 16 plenary rooms and 24 discussion rooms, supported by 196 bedrooms.

Location:

De Ruwenberg sits surrounded by a 14-acre estate and near to the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, to the North West of Eindhoven. Two bus stops, reachable within a 2-minute walk, connect delegates in 30 minutes with the train stations of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven.
The A2 motorway is a 5-minute drive distance and connects with all parts of the country like Eindhoven airport in 20 minutes, Utrecht in 30 minutes, Schiphol Airport Amsterdam 60 minutes, Antwerp 90 minutes, and Brussels or Dusseldorf in 90 minutes. For delegates driving, parking can be found near the hotel with 250 free spaces.

Design:

The hotel has two distinct building styles, mainly modern but fronted by the ‘castle De Ruwenberg’ which dates from the 14th century. Here there are three classic style meeting rooms in boardroom style (Castle Room (16 persons), Fireplace Room (8 persons) or the Reception Room (8 persons).
The castle Atrium leads to four dedicated business units, concrete in design, styled with a variety of artwork.

In the modern building De Ruwenberg has a main bar, 4 separate lounges, 5 terraces and the De Ruwenberg restaurant where guests take breakfast, lunch and dinner and the restaurant is suitable for small or larger private groups of up to 250. The restaurant can be privatised for larger groups and can be reserved for small groups up to 70 guests in a private area.

Bedrooms:

The hotel also in the modern building offers 194 comfort hotel rooms and 2 suites. The comfort hotel rooms provide free wifi, a laptop safe, an iron/board, a work desk, and a Nespresso machine.
De Ruwenberg has leisure and wellness facilities located in a separate building and can organize team-building activities for internal healthcare events.

Meeting space:

All meeting spaces are dived over the four units, located on the lower level. Each of the four units has its own plenary room 120m² and 65m² (60 pax and 35 pax in theatre style), discussion rooms (20m²), lounge with terrace and hotel bedrooms. There is one main entrance, but every unit can be privatised and offered with exclusive use of a specific area of the building. In total offers 40 conference and meeting rooms, ranging from 2-450 person theatre style. All rooms have large windows, advanced technology and are connected by fully equipped lounges with a private terrace. Each unit can be privatised.De Ruwenberg counts 16 plenary rooms and 24 discussion rooms, all effectively and comfortably equipped.

A clear distinction between the Conference Centre and the hotel is made since the Conference centre is situated on the ground level, while all hotel rooms are situated on the first, second and third floor.
Importantly hotel leisure guests are only in the hotel during holidays and weekends, which ensures that business guests and hotel guests will not encounter each other.

Experience:

De Ruwenberg supports a wide range of healthcare meetings from global pharmaceutical companies such as product launches, sales, and product trainings. De Ruwenberg also supports meetings from local hospitals and medical device companies.

De Ruwenberg is located on a private 14ha estate and during the working week, only meeting guests use the meeting and hotel facilities.
Whilst the name of hotel includes references to a castle, this area of the venue serves as the reception area and office for the employees so has limited use by delegates.
The art collection is privately owned and is not considered as a public gallery.
The spa facilities consist of 2 saunas and treatments are not available. The swimming pool and sauna are located on the ground floor, away from the main meeting and bedrooms and would not cause a distraction to meeting guests.
