The venue is also accessible via public transport, cycling routes, and carpooling options. Approximately 1,000 free parking spaces are available on-site, managed by the venue, with designated space for coach loading and unloading at the private entrance.
Externally, the property features a blend of modern brickwork with historic architectural elements, incorporating a 150-year-old farmhouse aesthetic within a contemporary framework. Internally, the public spaces and meeting rooms present a modern and functional design, with creative elements suited to corporate environments. The Claus Event Center includes venues styled from rustic-chic to industrial-modern, with discrete access via its own entrance, enhancing privacy for sensitive meetings. The venue offers over 25 meeting spaces across the Courtyard by Marriott hotel and Claus Event Center. The hotel section includes 10 flexible, daylight-filled meeting rooms on a dedicated meeting floor, supported with integrated AV equipment and breakout foyers. The Claus Event Center features The Patio (400m² with a videowall and vertical garden), The Farmhouse (historic setting with outdoor terrace), and IJzeren Frits (boardroom with breakout options). The largest rooms are The Patio, accommodating up to 400 delegates in theatre style, and the hotel’s Auditorium, accommodating up to 330 delegates in theatre style. All event spaces and breakout rooms are situated on the same level, facilitating seamless movement for large conferences and modular setups. The venue is suitable for corporate and healthcare-related meetings, including advisory boards, training days, and congress-style events, with full privatisation options available.
The hotel spans nine floors (1–9) and offers 260 guest rooms. Room types include Comfort King/Deluxe (Standard), Business Superior King/Queen (Executive), and Penthouse/Studio/Family Room (Suites). Standard rooms are equipped with work desks, soundproof windows, USB charging ports, smart TVs with Chromecast, and complimentary Wi-Fi, supporting the needs of business travellers and healthcare professionals. Nespresso machines and bathrobes are available in upgraded room categories and can be adjusted on request. The rooms do not offer views of notable city landmarks, maintaining a neutral outlook over greenery and the business park.
The primary dining facility is the Bar Bistro Courtyard, located on the hotel’s ground floor, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an international bistro-style menu. It seats approximately 120 guests and can be fully privatised for private dining functions. Additional catering venues include Barraca Rodizio Grill (200 seats), Claus Bowling Diner (80 seats), The Farmhouse (72 seats), and The Patio (up to 220 seats). All of these spaces can be privatised, and alternative private dining can also be arranged in designated meeting rooms for maximum discretion. Public areas suitable for professional use include the Bar Bistro Courtyard, Claus Bowling Lounge, and cocktail spaces at Barraca, all of which can be reserved for private events. Claus Event Center has received regional recognition for its culinary and event offerings.
The venue has extensive experience in hosting healthcare-related meetings and corporate events. Event types include investigator meetings, advisory boards, educational workshops, training days, and internal launches for life science and healthcare organisations such as Roche, AstraZeneca, and Merck.
