General Overview
DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre is a city-centre hotel offering facilities tailored to both business and leisure markets. Meetings and events form a significant part of the venue’s business model. The hotel provides a total of 16 configurable meeting spaces, including two boardrooms and a large ballroom, supporting a maximum capacity of 400 delegates in theatre style.

Location
DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre is located in the heart of Rotterdam, alongside the Maas river. It is surrounded by a blend of modern business offices, restaurants, and harbours. Rotterdam Central Station is a 10-minute journey from the hotel, offering both national rail and Eurostar services. Schiphol Airport is reachable in approximately one hour by train or car, and Rotterdam The Hague Airport in 30 minutes. Public transport access includes tram, metro, and water taxi stops directly in front of the hotel. The property has 34 parking spaces managed on-site and is within walking distance of two public garages. Coach access is possible directly in front of the hotel, with parking available five minutes away.
Design
Externally, the hotel showcases a contemporary design built with steel and expansive glass panels. Internally, the design is modern and light, with natural tones and functional aesthetics. The overall styling promotes openness while offering a subtle nod to the maritime heritage of Rotterdam through the adjacent Haven Hotel. Interior spaces across the venue are designed to promote comfort, clarity, and professionalism.
Meeting Spaces
DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre offers three dedicated meeting floors. The ground floor features a 500 m² divisible ballroom with natural daylight and harbour views. This ballroom can be sectioned into 11 smaller spaces and includes a full-service kitchen and bar. The 15th and 16th floors feature two boardrooms and a 375 m² ballroom with 180° panoramic views. The top-level ballroom can be divided into six spaces and includes an additional catering kitchen and bar. In total, the venue offers 16 configurable meeting spaces. The largest room supports up to 400 delegates in theatre setup. While there is no separate entrance for meeting attendees, the vertical zoning of meeting areas supports flexible event flows.
Bedrooms
The hotel has 265 bedrooms across floors 1 to 14. Room types include Standard, Executive, and Junior Suites. All Standard rooms include a work desk, tea and coffee facilities, laptop-sized safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board, 40” HDTV, mini fridge, bathroom amenities, and a hairdryer. Executive and Suite rooms offer additional services such as bathrobes and Nespresso machines, which can be removed on request. Rooms are designed in a contemporary style to support business travel requirements.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
The on-site restaurant, Do Deli Bar Bistro, is located on the ground floor and serves international buffet breakfast, along with a globally inspired lunch and dinner menu. It accommodates up to 90 guests. Use of the restaurant for private dinner meetings is possible but requires prior agreement. For larger dining functions, the two ballrooms offer full catering facilities and can accommodate dinners for up to 250 guests. The restaurant and event areas offer vegetarian and vegan menu options. A mini-market accessible 24/7 is also available in the hotel lobby.
Experience
The venue has experience in hosting healthcare events such as trainings, product launches, plenary sessions, and receptions. MSA agreements are held via Hilton Worldwide Sales, and the hotel maintains working relationships with local hospitals, healthcare companies, and academic institutions. The combination of varied meeting spaces and robust AV support positions the hotel well for healthcare compliance requirements.
Fitness
The fitness room includes both free weights and cardio machines and is available exclusively to hotel guests. Additionally, DoubleTree guests can access the spa and swimming pool facilities at the adjacent Haven Hotel Rotterdam on the 8th floor for a surcharge. Treatments are available on weekends, delivered by an external provider. The hotel does not market itself as a wellness destination, and there are no other leisure businesses on-site.
The hotel does not hold an official star rating however, avoids positioning itself as a luxury or deluxe property and does not focus on entertainment-driven offerings. Its website promotes proximity to local cultural and historical sites but without using language such as luxury, spectacular, award-winning, unique, high-end, boutique, spa, resort, entertainment).
