General Overview
Frankfurt Airport Marriott Hotel and Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center operate under a dual-brand model within one connected facility at Frankfurt Airport. These two properties, part of the Marriott International portfolio, provide integrated services targeted towards business and conference travellers, particularly within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Location
The venue is directly connected to Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 1 and the Sky Line train, which links the terminals. It is strategically located in a commercial and transport-centric environment, 15 minutes by public transportation from Frankfurt city centre. It offers ideal access for international delegates and is well connected by motorway, long-distance ICE train services, and regional transport. Parking facilities are available onsite, though specific numbers of car or coach spaces are not stated.
Design
Externally, the Sheraton underwent a major renovation in 2021, and the Marriott opened in 2020. Both showcase a contemporary architectural style with clean lines and warm materials. Internally, both properties reflect a modern and professional aesthetic. The Marriott includes thematic interior touches referencing Frankfurt’s literary history. Public and meeting areas are designed with functionality and discretion in mind, aiding compliance with privacy expectations.
Meeting Spaces
There are 58 meeting rooms distributed across three floors. The largest space is the 1,130 sq.m. Congress Center, which accommodates up to 1,200 attendees and features modular walls, adjustable staging, advanced AV systems, and a freight elevator. The SkyLoft, a dual-level 172 sq.m. venue, allows for creative setups. Breakout lounges are available throughout. Meeting rooms can be privatised on request, and flexible configurations are offered, including boardroom styles.
Bedrooms
The complex offers 1,017 guest rooms across 13 floors (Sheraton: 784 on 7 floors; Marriott: 233 on 6 floors). Room types include 669 standard Deluxe rooms. Business-friendly amenities include functional desks, armchairs or sofa areas, Nespresso machines, minibars (filled or on request), and complimentary Wi-Fi for Marriott Bonvoy members.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
"Flavors" is the main restaurant, serving breakfast and transforming into a premium steakhouse for dinner, with seating for 230 and full privatisation possible. Additional outlets include "The Eatery Kitchen & Bar" (210 seats) offering American cuisine, "Taverne" (100 seats) serving regional dishes and beer, and "The Bar & Davidoff Lounge" (90 seats) offering cocktails in an upscale setting. The bar also includes the airport’s only smoker’s lounge. These venues support professional gatherings with some availability for private hire.
Experience
The venue has ongoing experience hosting events for international corporate healthcare and life science companies. Event types include Investigator Meetings, Advisory Boards, Scientific Platforms, Sales Launches, and Tradeshows. Events range from internal team meetings to HCP gatherings and are supported under existing MSA agreements held by Marriott International.
Fitness
A 24-hour gym is accessible to guests of both hotels and includes modern cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights. While the hotel does not promote itself as a spa destination, the adjacent Sky Lounge – Massage & Wellness Day Spa operates independently next to the venue.
The venue does not carry an official star rating and is classified functionally as a business and conference hotel. It is not positioned as a luxury or resort property. Marketing language across official sources generally avoids high-risk terms; however, some descriptors such as “premium steakhouse,” “upscale atmosphere,” and “stylish setting” appear and should be interpreted with caution when assessing compliance risk.
