OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague is a modern upscale business and conference hotel located within Prague’s Anděl district, one of the city’s principal commercial and business areas. The hotel combines extensive conference facilities, contemporary accommodation, and supporting leisure amenities, making it suitable for corporate meetings, medical congresses, pharmaceutical events, training programmes, incentive groups, and international business travellers. Meetings and events form an important component of the hotel’s overall business offering, supported by 16 flexible meeting rooms, professional conference services, and modern audiovisual technology. The property offers 290 guest rooms and suites, restaurant and bar facilities, extensive conference space, and convenient access to Prague’s transport infrastructure.
OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague is situated in Prague 5 within the Anděl district, a modern commercial and business area located close to Prague city centre. The surrounding environment comprises office developments, shopping centres, restaurants, cafés, and residential buildings, creating a mixed-use urban business setting. While the hotel benefits from proximity to Prague’s historic centre and major visitor attractions, including Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and Old Town Square, it is not directly located within a tourist district and primarily overlooks commercial and residential developments within the Anděl area.
Delegates benefit from excellent public transport connectivity, with Anděl Metro Station (Line B) and multiple tram and bus stops located within a short walking distance of the hotel. These provide direct access to Prague city centre, Prague Main Railway Station, and other areas of the city. Václav Havel Airport Prague is approximately 25 minutes away by car. Although the hotel does not operate a dedicated airport shuttle service, private transfers and taxi services can be arranged upon request. The hotel offers on-site underground parking, with additional public parking facilities available nearby. Coaches can drop off and collect delegates directly outside the hotel entrance, while longer-term coach parking can be arranged subject to local regulations and event requirements.
The exterior of OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague is contemporary in style, featuring extensive use of glass, steel, and clean architectural lines typical of modern commercial developments. The building reflects the character of Prague’s Anděl business district and presents a professional appearance suited to corporate and conference events.
Internally, the hotel adopts a contemporary design approach throughout its public areas, meeting facilities, and guest accommodation. Interiors combine modern furnishings, open-plan layouts, and contemporary lighting with a functional business-focused environment. Meeting rooms feature a clean and professional aesthetic supported by flexible layouts and modern technology. Guest accommodation maintains a calm and comfortable atmosphere, balancing modern design with practical amenities suitable for both business and leisure travellers. The overall design creates a professional environment appropriate for conferences, healthcare meetings, and corporate events.
The hotel offers 16 flexible meeting rooms designed to accommodate a broad range of event formats including conferences, workshops, training sessions, exhibitions, pharmaceutical meetings, advisory boards, and hybrid events. The principal conference facilities, known as Meeting Complex I, are located on the first floor, while smaller breakout facilities within Meeting Complex II are located on the lower ground level.
The largest conference facility is formed by combining the interconnected Opal, Topaz, Quartz, and Sapphire meeting rooms, creating a plenary space capable of accommodating approximately 365 delegates in theatre-style configuration with front projection. Meeting rooms located within the same conference area include Opal, Topaz, Quartz, Sapphire A, Sapphire B, Crystal, and Diamond. The flexible design allows organisers to combine rooms into larger plenary spaces or divide them into smaller breakout rooms according to event requirements. Spacious foyers with natural daylight are positioned adjacent to the conference facilities and are regularly used for registration, networking, sponsor exhibitions, and refreshment breaks. Selected meeting areas can be fully privatised, allowing organisers to create dedicated event environments separated from normal hotel operations.
The hotel offers 290 guest rooms and suites distributed across five accommodation floors. The inventory comprises 231 designer guest rooms, 8 suites, and 51 serviced apartments, providing a range of accommodation options suitable for conference delegates and longer-stay guests.
Accommodation categories include Deluxe Rooms as the standard room offering, Executive Rooms as the upgraded category, and Suites. Standard business amenities include complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, ergonomic work desks, individually controlled air conditioning, laptop-sized safes, tea and coffee making facilities, flat-screen televisions, telephones, hairdryers, and contemporary bathroom amenities. Mini-fridges, bathrobes, and Nespresso machines can be removed upon request if required to support healthcare compliance requirements.
The hotel’s primary dining venue is Delight Restaurant, located on the first floor. The restaurant serves international and modern European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients and accommodates approximately 220 guests. Delight Restaurant can be fully privatised for exclusive-use events, private dinners, healthcare meetings, and presentations where discussions and presentations must remain confidential and cannot be seen or heard by other hotel guests.
In addition to Delight Restaurant, the hotel operates Oscar’s Bar, a contemporary bar and restaurant accommodating approximately 55 guests. Oscar’s Bar is suitable for informal business meetings, networking receptions, cocktail events, and smaller private functions, with partial or full exclusive use available depending on event requirements. The hotel also provides spacious conference foyers and lounge areas with natural daylight, frequently used for delegate registration, networking, coffee breaks, and sponsor exhibitions during conferences and healthcare events. Selected public areas can be privatised for exclusive use where required.
OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague has substantial experience hosting healthcare and life sciences meetings. Previous events have included pharmaceutical and medical sales meetings, advisory boards, investigator meetings, clinical training sessions, product launches, medical workshops, and mid-sized healthcare conferences. The hotel's combination of flexible conference facilities, accommodation capacity, and modern technical infrastructure supports both traditional face-to-face meetings and hybrid event formats.
The hotel is located within convenient reach of Prague’s major hospitals, universities, research institutions, and healthcare organisations. Its central location and transport accessibility make it a practical venue for meetings involving healthcare professionals, life sciences organisations, academic institutions, and pharmaceutical companies operating locally and internationally.
Guests have complimentary access to a nearby modern fitness centre equipped with exercise equipment suitable for general fitness training. The hotel does not operate its own swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, or treatment facilities and does not position itself as a wellness or spa destination.
No additional leisure businesses, retail outlets, casinos, or entertainment facilities operate within the hotel. The absence of significant leisure infrastructure supports the venue’s business-focused positioning and suitability for professional meetings and conferences.
OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague is an officially rated four-star hotel. The property positions itself primarily as a business and conference hotel, with a strong emphasis on meetings, corporate events, accommodation, and conference services rather than leisure or entertainment activities.
The venue does not provide live music, DJ entertainment, or organised entertainment programmes. It does not advertise any facilities as award-winning and does not actively promote tourist attractions as a reason to attend meetings at the property.
From a healthcare compliance perspective, the venue presents a low compliance risk profile. The property’s marketing language remains professional and business-oriented, avoiding terminology commonly associated with luxury, boutique, resort, wellness, or entertainment destinations. The absence of significant leisure attractions, entertainment facilities, gaming activities, or resort-style amenities further supports its suitability for healthcare meetings and pharmaceutical events.
