Delegates can access the venue by car via the nearby M40 motorway or by rail, with the nearest train station located approximately 7 miles away. The hotel provides 450 complimentary on-site parking spaces, all managed directly by the hotel. Coaches can drop off delegates directly outside the main entrance and park adjacent to the main building. The venue's accessibility by road and availability of extensive parking make it particularly suitable for regional and national delegate attendance.

 

Design

The exterior of Oxford Belfry Hotel is contemporary in design, incorporating predominantly concrete construction and modern architectural styling. The building presents a purpose-built conference hotel appearance rather than a traditional or historic Oxford property.

 

Internally, the hotel maintains a modern contemporary design throughout its public areas, meeting spaces, and guest accommodation. Meeting facilities are concentrated on a single floor, creating a practical and efficient conference layout. Public areas are functional and business-oriented, supporting delegate movement between meeting rooms, accommodation, restaurant facilities, and breakout spaces. The hotel's extensive grounds also provide opportunities for outdoor activities and team-building events.

 

Meeting Spaces

The hotel offers 18 meeting rooms, all located on the ground floor, creating a highly accessible and operationally efficient conference environment. The meeting suite is designed to support both large-scale conferences and smaller breakout sessions, with all meeting spaces positioned on the same level to simplify delegate flow and event management.

 

The largest meeting room is the College Suite, which accommodates up to 450 delegates in theatre-style configuration with front projection capability. All meeting rooms are located on the same floor as the College Suite, enabling flexible multi-room conference programmes and breakout requirements. The College Suite and Trinity Suite area can be fully privatised, providing exclusive-use event facilities where required. The venue is particularly suited to residential conferences of up to 140 delegates but also performs strongly as a day delegate venue due to the volume of meeting space available. Guest rooms are equipped with business traveller amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, work desks, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, and personal safes. The accommodation offering supports both conference delegates and individual business travellers, providing practical facilities suitable for residential meetings and overnight conference programmes.

 

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The primary restaurant is Spires Restaurant, located on the ground floor. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu using locally sourced ingredients and accommodates approximately 120 guests. While the restaurant supports breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, it cannot be fully privatised for exclusive-use dinner meetings or presentations where complete privacy is required.

For private dining requirements, the hotel's meeting rooms provide suitable alternatives and can accommodate private dining events for up to 300 delegates depending on room selection and configuration. These private event spaces can be fully enclosed, ensuring presentations and discussions cannot be seen or heard by other guests. The hotel does not operate any additional restaurants or standalone food and beverage outlets.

 

Experience

Oxford Belfry Hotel has experience hosting healthcare-related meetings including internal kick-off meetings, sales meetings, and training events for healthcare and life sciences organisations. The venue's extensive meeting capacity, residential accommodation, and single-floor conference layout support structured educational and corporate meeting formats.

The hotel does not currently hold master service agreements with healthcare agencies and has not reported formal partnerships with local healthcare clusters, science parks, universities, or life science organisations. However, its conference-focused infrastructure is well suited to healthcare training programmes, internal meetings, and educational events.

 

Fitness

The hotel offers a fitness gym equipped with both free weights and exercise machines. Additional leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool and spa treatment facilities, all of which are owned and managed directly by the hotel. Spa treatments are available for guests, although the venue markets itself primarily as a hotel and conference destination rather than as a dedicated spa or wellness retreat.
