Compliance Summary
General Overview
De Vere Beaumont Estate is a four-star large-scale hotel and events venue in Old Windsor, set within 42 acres of parkland. The venue serves both business and leisure markets, with meetings and events forming a significant part of its offer, particularly large corporate conferences, exhibitions, summer conferences and team-building events.
Location
The venue is located on Burfield Road, Old Windsor, in a rural parkland setting rather than a city-centre or business-park location. Egham railway station is approximately 3 miles away, with direct rail services to London Waterloo taking around 37 minutes. Hatton Cross Underground station is approximately 9 miles away on the Piccadilly line. The venue is accessible by road via the M3, M4 and M25.
The venue provides 550 on-site parking spaces, with coach drop-off and pick-up available in front of the leisure club next to car park 1.
Design
The estate combines historic and contemporary buildings. Its history dates back to the 14th century, with a Georgian White House façade, white pillars and a 19th-century chapel. Internally, the venue combines heritage features with modern conference and accommodation facilities, supported by an ongoing refurbishment programme with £40 million invested to date. From a compliance perspective, the estate layout allows meetings to be zoned, with The White House available as a separate entrance and self-contained private area.
Meeting Spaces
The venue offers 45 meeting and event spaces across up to three floors, although most meeting rooms are on the ground floor. The largest space is the Hanover Suite, a pillar-free room accommodating up to 700 delegates in theatre style. The Hanover Suite is on the ground floor, with the Hanover Lounge adjacent and able to accommodate up to 700 for receptions. The Buckingham Suite is located next to the Hanover Suite and may be used for breakout sessions, syndicate space or as an organiser’s office. The estate can be hired exclusively, and specific areas such as the Conference Village or White House can be zoned privately.
Bedrooms
The venue has 429 bedrooms across two floors. Standard rooms are described as Standard Double Rooms, while upgraded accommodation is described as Suites. Standard room amenities include a work desk, laptop safe, tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Mini-fridges, bathrobes and Nespresso machines can be removed on request where present.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
The Beaumont Restaurant is the primary restaurant and accommodates up to 400 guests. The venue also has the 1705 Restaurant, serving an à la carte menu. Public and event spaces suitable for professional gatherings include the Hanover Lounge Bar, Hampton Suite Bar and Chapel Bar. Full privatisation details for the restaurants were not provided; where complete privacy is required for presentations or healthcare-related dinners, a meeting room should be used instead.
Experience
The venue is positioned for large-scale corporate conferences, exhibitions, internal training programmes and team-building retreats. The venue’s large number of meeting rooms, exclusive-use options and self-contained zones may support confidential corporate or healthcare meetings, subject to client compliance review.
Fitness
The venue has a fitness gym with both exercise machines and free weights, plus a heated indoor swimming pool managed by the hotel. It does not market itself as a spa or wellness destination, and spa treatments are not available. Additional leisure facilities include tennis courts, running trails, outdoor play areas and a dog wash facility.
