Hotel Giralda Center is a modern four-star superior business and conference hotel located in Seville, offering a balanced combination of business, meetings and leisure facilities. Meetings and events form a core part of the hotel's business strategy, with more than 1,300 m² of flexible conference space including a ballroom accommodating up to 450 delegates, multiple breakout rooms, contemporary accommodation, restaurant facilities and leisure amenities. The hotel is well suited to corporate meetings, healthcare events, pharmaceutical meetings, conferences, incentive groups and residential events.

 

Location

Hotel Giralda Center is located on Juan de Mata Carriazo Street within the city of Seville, in a well-connected urban area close to both the historic centre and the city's principal business districts. The surrounding environment combines commercial, residential and civic buildings, providing a professional setting while remaining within easy reach of many of Seville's cultural landmarks. The hotel is close to Plaza de España, María Luisa Park, the Royal Alcázar, Seville Cathedral and La Giralda, whilst maintaining an environment appropriate for business meetings and conferences.

 

Delegates can access the hotel via Seville Santa Justa high-speed rail station, local train services, metro, tram, public bus routes, cycling infrastructure and pedestrian walkways. Seville's extensive public transport network supports sustainable travel throughout the city. The hotel provides on-site parking for delegates and guests, with additional public parking available nearby when required for larger events. Coaches can safely drop off and collect delegates directly outside the hotel, with longer-term coach parking available through designated city coach parking facilities.

 

Design

The hotel features a modern contemporary exterior with clean architectural lines, extensive glazing and an elegant urban appearance inspired in part by traditional Parisian attic architecture. The contemporary façade reflects the hotel's positioning as one of Seville's leading business and conference hotels.

Internally, the hotel combines contemporary elegance with practical functionality. Public areas, meeting rooms and guest accommodation feature natural materials, warm colour palettes and abundant natural daylight, creating a professional yet welcoming environment. The conference facilities are integrated within the main hotel building, allowing convenient access between accommodation, restaurants and meeting spaces while supporting efficient delegate movement throughout events.

 

Meeting Spaces

Hotel Giralda Center offers over 1,300 m² of flexible conference facilities comprising 15 meeting and breakout rooms distributed across two dedicated meeting floors. The meeting spaces include divisible ballrooms, large plenary areas and smaller breakout rooms capable of accommodating conferences, healthcare meetings, advisory boards, exhibitions, board meetings, product launches, training programmes and gala dinners. Meeting areas are easily accessed from the main hotel entrance and lower-level conference areas, with the hotel able to support dedicated registration areas and managed delegate flows where required.

 

The largest meeting space is the Hispalis Ballroom, offering 667 m² with capacity for up to 450 delegates in theatre-style configuration or 430 guests for banquet events. The combination of substantial plenary capacity and multiple breakout rooms makes the venue particularly suitable for national and international conferences, pharmaceutical meetings, healthcare education, medical advisory boards and association congresses. All meeting rooms can be fully privatised for exclusive events, ensuring confidentiality for healthcare and corporate meetings.

 

Bedrooms

The hotel offers 191 guest rooms and suites distributed across four accommodation floors from the second to the fifth floor. Accommodation categories include Standard Twin and Standard Double Rooms, Superior Rooms as the executive category, together with Junior Suites and Suites.

 

Standard guest rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, work desks, air conditioning, flat-screen televisions, in-room safes, minibars and modern bathroom facilities, providing suitable accommodation for business travellers. Where required for healthcare compliance, minibar contents and additional in-room amenities can be removed on request.

 

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The hotel's primary dining venue is Al-Zagal Restaurant & Café, located within the main public area of the hotel. The restaurant serves contemporary Mediterranean and Andalusian cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and accommodates approximately 50 guests. Whilst the restaurant cannot be fully privatised, confidential healthcare dinners and private dining events can be accommodated within dedicated meeting rooms or event spaces where complete exclusivity is required.

Additional hospitality facilities include lobby lounge areas together with a seasonal rooftop restaurant and bar serving Mediterranean casual dining with seating for approximately 40 guests. The hotel also features an outdoor terrace and seasonal swimming pool, providing informal networking space outside conference hours.

 

Experience

Hotel Giralda Center has extensive experience hosting healthcare and life sciences meetings. Previous event formats have included investigator meetings, medical advisory boards, educational meetings, medical training programmes, pharmaceutical product launches, internal corporate healthcare meetings and national and international conferences.

 

The hotel confirms that it has established Master Service Agreements with a number of healthcare agencies and actively works within the healthcare meetings marketplace, maintaining relationships with healthcare organisations and life sciences companies. Its flexible conference facilities, large plenary capacity and multiple breakout rooms make it particularly well suited to pharmaceutical and healthcare events.

 

Fitness

The hotel provides a fitness centre together with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, rooftop leisure terrace and relaxation areas. Massage treatments are available by prior reservation and subject to availability. These leisure facilities are located on the highest level of the hotel, physically separated from the conference facilities.

 

The property does not market itself as a spa or wellness destination despite offering massage services. No additional retail outlets, casinos, salons or other leisure businesses operate within the hotel.

While its marketing highlights the proximity of major Seville landmarks including Plaza de España, María Luisa Park, the Royal Alcázar, Seville Cathedral and La Giralda, these are presented as destination benefits rather than as integral components of the meeting experience.

 

From a healthcare compliance perspective, the venue presents a low compliance risk profile. Its primary focus remains conferences, corporate meetings and business travel, supported by dedicated conference infrastructure, flexible meeting rooms and a substantial ballroom. Although the hotel offers a seasonal rooftop bar, swimming pool and massage room, these facilities are secondary to its conference offering and are located separately from the meeting facilities.
