The Prague Marriott Hotel is a business hotel with a dedicated focus on meetings and events. It offers an extensive conference floor and facilities designed to support the corporate sector.

 

Location

The Prague Marriott Hotel is situated in a downtown commercial district, approximately 15 minutes by foot from the city centre and key landmarks. It is located within 15 minutes walking distance of Prague’s Main Train Station and is directly accessible via a subway station, promoting sustainable transport options for delegates. The hotel provides 400 underground parking spaces, though these are managed separately. Coaches can drop off guests in front of the hotel, with parking available within a 10-minute drive.

 

Design

Externally, the hotel features modern architectural elements including wood panelling, glass, and marble. Internally, the venue maintains a modern contemporary style throughout guest and meeting areas. The presence of a private group entrance and a single-level meeting floor supports compliance by allowing discrete movement of delegates and event staff without traversing guest areas.

 

Meeting Spaces

The venue offers 14 meeting rooms on a single floor, including the Bohemia and Moravia Ballrooms and eight breakout rooms named Studio A–G, plus a Boardroom. The largest room, Bohemia Ballroom, has a theatre-style capacity of 500 with front projection capability. The floor plan supports various event types including conferences, investigator meetings, and product showcases. The entire meeting floor can be fully privatised for exclusive use, supporting compliance and event confidentiality.

 

Bedrooms

There are 416 guest rooms across floors 1 to 7, comprising Deluxe Rooms, Superior Rooms, Club Rooms, and Club Suites. Standard rooms offer business amenities including work desks, laptop-compatible safes, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea/coffee facilities, irons, ironing boards, and hairdryers. Mini-fridges are standard and may be emptied or locked on request. No mention of views or themed room offerings was provided.

 

Restaurant and Public Spaces

The primary dining outlet, The Artisan, serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the lobby level and seats up to 250 guests. It cannot be fully privatised, so the Moravia or Bohemia Ballrooms are recommended for private dining. A lobby bar with a seating capacity of 100 serves beverages and cocktails. There are no award-winning public areas, but these spaces are suitable for professional use and limited private hire.

 

Experience

The venue has demonstrated experience hosting healthcare meetings, including investigator meetings, product launches, partner meetings, and sales events. As part of the Marriott group, the hotel maintains Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with several healthcare agencies, providing assurance of compliance capabilities. However, it does not currently engage with local healthcare ecosystems such as science parks or universities.

 

Fitness

The hotel features a fitness centre on the -1 level with both free weights and machines. A swimming pool is available, but there is no spa or wellness treatment area, nor does the venue promote itself as a wellness destination. No additional leisure facilities are noted, ensuring the venue maintains a business-oriented profile.

 

Compliance Hotspot

The Prague Marriott Hotel is officially unclassified and does not advertise itself as a luxury or entertainment-focused venue however, leisure sites such as Booking.com advertises the hotel as 5-star so additional approvals maybe required

Its website does not highlight potentially non-compliant language such as “luxury,” “award-winning,” “resort,” or “spa.” The venue hosts live entertainment only once weekly (a singer in the lobby), which is limited in scope and not actively promoted as a feature, aligning it with healthcare compliance expectations.

The close location to tourist areas makes it attractive to leisure travellers but it is a short walk away.
