General Overview

The Mövenpick is a 4-star property located 5 minutes away from the Airport and 15 minutes from the City Centre.

Location

The hotel offers an Airport shuttle service and Geneva provides visitors a free public transport option which supports sustanable meetings.

The hotel is close to the main international areas of Geneva such as the United Nations, and the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research, which represents one of the main scientific research organization of the  World). The Hôpital de La Tour is located at 10 minutes from the hotel.

Bedrooms

The Mövenpick has 350 rooms with 187 of them being Classic. They have a discreet and modern style with high-speed wi-fi, a working desk, safe to keep personal and confidential belongings. All rooms are equipped with iron and board.

Meeting Spaces

16 meeting rooms support all meeting types from small adboards, up to 300 persons in round tables. Most rooms within the conference center are on the first floor, and private use can be offered.

Restaurants

There are two restaurants. The Mövenpick Restaurant is the location for guest breakfast, lunch and dinners and serves traditional Swiss and international cuisine with a selection of local products.

The Kamome is a Japanese restaurant that offers a selection of sushis and dishes.

Fitness

On the 14th floor, and away from the meeting spaces, guests have access to a fitness room but there is no pool and spa treatments are not offered.

Experience

The Mövenpick is certified Green Globe, Gaia, and level 3 Swisstainable. Green Globe includes a sustainable program as well as 44 other criteria such as recruitment, anti-bribery, or health and safety. Swisstainable is a Swiss program.

External travel websites show that the hotel is 5-star however, this is incorrect. The Movenpick Geneva is officially 4-star rated.

On some websites, Casino Geneva is mentioned within the title. The reality is that the hotel is one of many businesses within a multipurpose building which includes the hotel, bank, commercial offices, an International School, a car rental and the casino. 

The casino is not owned or managed by the hotel and has its own dedicated exterior entrance. Movenpick are looking to remove 'casino' from their title.
