General Overview

The Park Plaza Utrecht focusses on its central location and facilities to attract a mix of business and leisure guests. Whilst close to Jaarbeurs, it has it sown 10 meeting rooms for up to 112 supported by 120 bedrooms.

Location

The hotel backs on to main railway lines with mainly commerical businesses to other sides. Located in the heart of the city, it is within walking distance of the central station which connects to Amsterdam's Central Station in 25 minutes, Schipol Airport (AMS) is within 35 minutes by car or 45 by public transport. 

The tourist and shoppings areas, and canals are within walking distance but not visible from the hotel.

For group travel, coaches can park outside.

Design

The hotel is 'completely inspired by the Dutch Art movement of De Stijl' with an exterior of the hotel of mainly glass giving a modern and contemporary feel to the property. This continues inside with public spaces and bedrooms.

Bedrooms

120 bedrooms are spread over 5 bedrooms floors, made up of Standard and Executive categories. All rooms come with workdesk, telephone, iron/board, air-conditioning and wi-fi.

Meeting Space

The hotel has 10 flexible meeting rooms on the ground floor with natural daylight, capable of hosting meetings for up to 112 in theatre style.

All rooms are in one concentrated area which can be privatised, with a central foyer for tea/coffee breaks.

Restaurant

The CUBO restaurant represents a contemporary space with clean lines and warm tones. Guests take breakfast here and can accommodate xXXXX guests but for private dinners, a meeting room is required

Fitness

The hotel offers guests a fitness room with free weights and cardio and resistance machines.

The Park Plza Utrecht interior decor takes inspiration from the Dutch art movement ‘De Stijl, an abstract use of geometric shapes, and primary colors, along with black and white. However, this is a modern business hotel, located next to central station and not the canals of Utrecht as some images may suggest.

The hotel promotes panoramic views from the 7th floor but would not be included in any proposals that include HCPs.
