General Overview
The Celtic Manor Resort is a multi-purpose venue with a wide range of facilities for business, including a hotel with an adjoining convention center and exhibition hall. Therefore, residential and non-residential conferences and meetings make up most of their business mix.
The venue has won the M&IT (Meetings and Incentive Travel) Best UK Hotel award for ten years.

Location
Celtic Manor is 2 hours from London, located on the outskirts of Newport, close to a residential area, just off junction 24 of the M4. The hotel’s golf courses are to one side of the property with wooded areas and the ICC Wales to the other.
The cities of Cardiff and Bristol are a 30-minute drive away and with the major M4 and M5 motorways, cities to the East, North, and South are easily reachable. For delegates driving, the venue offers 1,500 chargeable parking spaces, managed by Celtic Manor Resort. For group travel, coaches can park outside.
Design
The Resort Hotel is a modern structure featuring a blend of contemporary design elements with nods to traditional styles, creating a luxurious and welcoming appearance.
The exterior is characterized by large expanses of glass, clean lines, and a mix of natural stone with traditional Welsh styling. The use of glass ensures plenty of natural light and provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside and golf courses.
Meeting Space
The venue's extensive meeting facilities are located over multiple floors and within multiple buildings within the resort grounds, which includes ICC Wales, a dedicated convention centre with an exhibition hall.

Within the hotel, the largest suite is the Caernarfon which can accommodate up to 1200 in theatre style.
In addition, the Augusta Suite holds 400 in theatre style, and Beaumaris (x280), the Denbie/Conwyn Suite (175). Plus the Manor Suite (230), Chairman's Marquee & Via Julia (150 to 300)
There are also meeting spaces at the 2010 Clubhouse, with its entrance away from the main hotel building.
Bedrooms
332 bedrooms are spread across five-bedroom floors including Superior and Executive classifications, and rooms within the Hunter Lodges.
Bedrooms include business amenities such as a work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, and complimentary wi-fi. Mini-fridge, bathrobes, and Nespresso machines can be removed on request.
Restaurant
The Olive Tree restaurant, located on the lobby level, is the hotel's main restaurant and serves an international buffet for up to 250 guests and can be privatised on request.
Other restaurants or catering areas include 5 additional restaurants, 6 bars across the resort (including the golf clubhouse), and multiple private dining spaces, cafes, and coffee shops.
Experience
The venue has experience in hosting:
Residential and non-residential internal meetings, Staff meetings and events, Professional training, Management and Educational meetings, and Training Courses
The Hotel works closely with Meet in Wales who can support in facilitating meetings with universities and science companies to support any event or conference. The hotel also has established relationships with local universities.
Fitness
The hotel provides guests with two fitness gyms with free weights and exercise machines.
2 swimming pools and 2 spas offering treatments, all managed by the Celtic Manor Resort.
One health club is located within the main hotel on a separate floor and part of the building to the meeting spaces. The meeting spaces can be accessed without passing the health club. One health club and treatment rooms are located in the golf clubhouse within the resort grounds, but separate to the main hotel meeting rooms.
The hotel is officially rated as an AA 5-star hotel. 5-star hotels are not necessarily barred from being used for sponsored HCP meetings, as ‘resort’ is used in the title and the venue markets itself as a luxury hotel and features renowned golf courses and leisure facilities, it’s use for sponsored HCP meetings may require additional approvals.
