GENERAL POSITIONING
TITANIC Chaussee Berlin opened in 2016 as a purpose-built 4-star conference and business hotel and is located in the east part of Berlin.
Titanic Chaussee is easily accessible, located just 2 minutes` drive from Berlin main train station, and a 1-minute walk from the “Naturkundemuseum metro station “, and a short distance from other Tram and S-Bahn stations.
For International meetings, Berlins two international airports of Tegel Airport, and Schönefeld Airport are a 25 minutes and 40 minutes` drive away respectively.
For those delegate that are driving, the hotel provides its own car park for up to 190 cars.
The convention centre has its own dedicated entrance and features 8 rooms across two floors with ground floor Ballroom 1-3 being the largest. When the three sections are combined it can accommodate up to 1150 people in theatre style or two sections of 200 and Ballroom III which can accommodate 750 in theatre style or 250 in cabaret, ideal for self-contained investigator meetings where the other two sections are used for catering.
On the first floor are seven other rooms which are ideal for breakouts or workshop rooms of 25 to 140 theatre style or suitable for smaller meeting types such as advisory board meetings and product launches
Titanic Chaussee has experience in hosting a large number of both corporate and non-commercial healthcare events involving internal staff and external healthcare professionals- such as small team meetings up to conferences of 1000 attendees.
The hotel does provide residential guests access to a Fitness Centre with SPA with pool, but any treatments are chargeable. These facilities are located on the lower floor so due to its location delegates will not be distracted when attending any meetings here since the meeting rooms are located on the ground floor as well as on the first floor
SALES AND MARKETING
The hotels serve both the business and leisure market, TITANIC Chaussee positions itself as a hybrid.
On the website and brochure information is provided on, 11 business rooms, the 389 rooms as well as the and the leisure facilities.
As both mediums are used to attract the business and leisure markets, the images used reflect this and are of public areas, meeting spaces and one of the pool.
External websites support the hotels 4-star rating and are a mix of references to the meeting spaces, location in the city and the leisure aspects.
The hotel advertises in the Michelin Guide, but the restaurant is not Michelin star rated and would not be considered as a fine dining experience.
LOCATION AND SETTING
Titanic Chaussee is located on a busy residential street, located just a 2 minutes` drive from Berlin main train station, and a 1 minute walk from metro station „Naturkundemuseum“and various Tram and S-Bahn stations are just around the corner.
Berlins two international airports of Tegel Airport, and Schönefeld Airport are a 25 minutes and 40 minutes` drive away respectively.
The Charité University hospital with its research institute is also is only a short walk away from TITANIC Chaussee as well as Headquarters of global healthcare companies.
The TITANIC Chaussee`s car park has parking space for 190 cars.
FIT FOR PURPOSE
The TITANIC Chaussee was purpose built as a meetings and conferences venue.
The venue offers 11 flexible meeting rooms with the Ballrooms 1-3 to be found on the ground floor and 8 meeting rooms on the first floor so that a meeting with confidentiality can take place there.
All 11 meetings rooms have daylight, 5 of the meetings rooms have access to a small terrace.
With a separate convention center entrance you do not even have to enter through the main lobby.
With a retro oriental style, the venue is very warm in interior design without touches that would suggest a more luxurious offering.
On the lower floor there is a Fitness and SPA area however, since all the meetings rooms are on the ground floor as well as the first floor and have a dedicated entrance, delegates will not be distracted when attending meetings here.
FACILITIES
Meetings: TITANIC Chaussee offers 11 meeting rooms on two floors with a total of 2500sqm.
The convention centre has its own dedicated entrance and features 8 rooms across two floors with ground floor Ballroom 1-3 being the largest. Catering can be provided in all meetings rooms.
Bedrooms: The TITANIC Chausee has a total of 389 rooms with 376 in one standard category of room, making ideal for healthcare meetings as all delegate will receive the same category of rooms. With warm browns and yellow colours and classical design the rooms offer, free Wifi, working desk and room safe.
Restaurants: On the first floor we have the restaurant Alesta – with seating for up to 550 – and is the location for guest breakfast. Catering can be provided in all function rooms however; this restaurant is predominantly used for business lunches and dinner.
Located on the ground floor our Italian style a la carte restaurant “Pascarella” and the hotel bar “Charlotte”. The restaurant is advertised as being in the Michelin Guide however, the cuisine is Italian and not marketed as a fine dining experience.
Leisure: The hotel does provide residential guests a Fitness Centre and SPA, but any treatments are chargeable. These facilities are located on the lower floor we so due to its location delegates will not be distracted when attending any meetings here.

There is no concierge service however, a guest relations manager is available to assist with guest or delegate issues.
