Location
The Zurich Marriott Hotel is located in Zurich city centre, overlooking the Limmat river and within walking distance of the Swiss National Museum. Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station) is approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel, providing extensive national and international rail connections. The nearest public transport stop, Stampfenbachplatz, is served by tram lines 11 and 14 and bus line 46, offering direct citywide connections. Zurich Airport is approximately 10 km away and can be reached in around 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by train from the nearby main station.
The property manages its own underground garage with up to 95 parking spaces. A designated coach pick-up and drop-off area is available at the convention entrance.
Design
Externally, the Zurich Marriott Hotel has a modern, neutral façade dominated by glass and concrete. Internally, public areas feature simple and modern furnishings with natural light. Meeting rooms are functional and contemporary in style, designed for flexibility and equipped with advanced AV technology. Bedrooms are minimalist, comfortable, and suited to business travellers. The M Club Lounge offers a modern design with a relaxed atmosphere. Several entrances, including private access to the annex and corporate restaurant, support discrete event management.
Meeting Spaces
The hotel provides 12 meeting rooms distributed across five floors. These include two large ballrooms (Millennium and Century), seven studios, two boardrooms, and a corporate restaurant (Sächselüüte). Meeting capacities range from 2 to 650 attendees, with layouts adaptable to business meetings, banquets, product launches, and board meetings.
The Millennium Ballroom is the largest meeting room, accommodating up to 650 delegates in theatre style and covering approximately 470 m². Located on the second floor, it is adjoined by the Century Ballroom, enabling combined or separate use. All meeting rooms benefit from natural light and are equipped with modern AV systems.

Bedrooms
The hotel offers 266 bedrooms across two buildings. The main building includes 16 floors of rooms from the 4th to 19th floors, while the North Wing contains six floors of rooms starting at the 4th floor. Rooms are categorised as follows:
Standard: Single, Deluxe, and Superior Rooms
Executive: Club Rooms and Junior Club Suites
Suites: Club Suite, Panorama Suite, and Business Suite
All rooms provide business-travel amenities, including ergonomic work desks, laptop-sized safes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, ironing facilities, and tea/coffee-making equipment. Mini-fridges, bathrobes, and Nespresso machines can be removed upon request. Higher-category rooms provide city or river views.
Restaurant and Public Spaces
The primary restaurant, eCHo, located on the 1st floor, serves Swiss cuisine with modern influences and has 60 seats. It is available for complete private hire for dinner meetings. Additional dining options include:
Sächselüüte (90 seats): corporate restaurant, suitable for live cooking and team-building events, fully privatisable.
White Elephant (70 seats): offering authentic Thai cuisine, available for private hire.
Public gathering spaces include Hub 4 (100 persons), Hub 2 (150 persons), Lenox Bar (50 persons), and an outdoor terrace (70 persons). The venue has received the Swiss Location Award in 2024 and 2025 as a top congress venue.
Experience
The Zurich Marriott Hotel has substantial experience in hosting healthcare-related and corporate events. Previous events include catering functions, banquets, meetings, award shows, and presentations for life sciences and healthcare companies. Capacities range from small board meetings to conferences of up to 650 attendees. While the venue does not have master service agreements with agencies, it can accommodate compliance-driven events with privacy and flexible meeting room use.
Fitness
The hotel provides a fitness centre located on the 3rd floor, separate from meeting spaces. The gym is equipped with free weights and exercise machines. Additional facilities include a massage room, staffed by external therapists. The hotel does not market itself as a spa or wellness destination, and no pool is available.
The Zurich Marriott Hotel is officially classified as a 5-star property by Hotellerie Suisse. It does not market itself as a spa, resort, or entertainment-focused destination.
The venue’s website uses neutral and business-oriented terminology; however, terms such as “premium segment” and “award-winning” (in reference to the Swiss Location Award) may present minor compliance risks.
