General Overview:

The Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade is a 4-star business hotel situated within the international zone of The Hague, surrounded by the green Van Stolkpark.

Location:

The hotel is easily accessible via A12 and A44 highways and directly accessible by public transportation. From the train station Den Haag Holland Spoor it will only take 15 minutes to the tram stop in front of the hotel. The hotel has 175 parking spaces for delegates and Schipol International Airport is only 40 minute's driving. The hotel is within 10 minutes' walking distance from one of the largest international conference centers in the Netherlands, the World Forum.

Design:

The hotel has a classic design with modern touches using warm brown shades and wooden furnishings. The interior is decorated with large plants and trees and meeting rooms have recycled fishing nets as carpets to support its sustainability approach.

Bedrooms:

The hotel’s 178 guest rooms are divided over two wings on floors 1 - 6 with 54 Comfort rooms, 95 Superior (Plus) rooms, 20 Deluxe, and 8 Suites. All rooms are including air conditioning, a work desk, a small seating area, a small safe, iron & board, and coffee and tea facilities. All guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas provide free WIFI connection.

Restaurant:

The Restaurant, LEO's International Flavours is situated on the ground floor of the hotel and has a maximum capacity of up to 90 persons in dinner set up. The restaurant is connected to the Statenzaal, which provides an extra capacity for 70 people. Standing and seated set up combined, the LEO's International Flavours and Statenzaal together can accommodate a maximum of 350 guests.

The hotel has 7 multifunctional conference rooms and 3 boardrooms. Most of them are located on the ground floor.

The Residentie, Oranje, and Park meeting rooms combined can accommodate 350 people in theatre set up and 175 persons in the crescent rounds set up. These rooms are all located on the ground floor and when combined. Guests can have access via a private side entrance. For this reason, these rooms can be privatized to provide the confidentiality required by meetings for the healthcare sector. The Presidential Boardroom located on the sixth floor is suitable for 14 people and is perfect for an advisory board with extra privacy. The boardroom has a private welcome area, which can be used as a breakout room for up to 8 persons as well.

The venue is also active in supporting events and side-events from the World Forum Conference Centre which is home to many congresses from the Healthcare Sector, for example; World Federation For Hospital Sterilisation Sciences (WFHSS) and European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD).

Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade is also close to the International Health Centre in The Hague (IHCH), the Science Centre in Delft, the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), and different pharmaceutical companies such as Eurodrug Laboratories B.V., AstraZeneca B.V. and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

Fitness:

The Promenade Health Club & Spa is in the souterrain of the hotel and has a private entrance for non-residents. It includes a total wellness area with a modest-sized swimming pool, fitness gym, and saunas.

The hotel provides residential guests with a health club and spa but is located on a different floor and away from meeting spaces. The Healthclub has its own separate entrance. Treatments are available but are chargeable.
