The Hilton London Waldorf is officially rated as 4 star and venue with a mix of facilities and services for the business and leisure markets, with 7 meeting rooms able to host meetings up to 350 in theatre style.

Location

The hotel is located on the busy Aldwych, close to but not overlooking Covent Garden, a main tourist area in the heart of London.

The train stations of London Charing Cross and City ThamesLink, and Waterloo are under a 15-minute walk away.  As are London Underground stations of Covent Garden, Holborn, Temple, Charing Cross, and Waterloo.

London’s airports of Heathrow, Gatwick and City are all under an hour away by car of public transport. The hotel does not have parking but for group travel, coaches can park outside for up to 20 minutes.

Design

The hotel is a 1910’s Edwardian design with Grade 2 listed features and can be described as ‘traditional historic’ with modern touches.

Meeting Space

The meeting space spans over 3 floors with the Lower ground floor – Mackenzie and Syndicate Room. Ground Floor – Adelphi Suite (Which can be separated into 3 different rooms), Palm Court and Executive Boardroom. Executive Floor – Aldwych Suite, Westminster Suite

Access is via the hotel public space and the Palm Court, Adelphi Suite, Executive Boardroom and Syndicate room can be privatised on request.

Bedrooms

The hotels 298 bedrooms are split over 9 floors from level E to the 8th floor.

All rooms come with a work desk, Safe, Tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi, Ironing board, iron.

Restaurant

The Hotel’s main restaurant, the Homage is located on the ground floor and serves English cuisine with 80 seats. It can be privatised on request although for dinner meetings involving HCPs, a meeting room is recommended.

Other catering outlets include The wild monkey, a bar and Good Godfreys, a bar serving light food.

Experience

The hotel has experience in hosting internal and external conferences, plus receptions, dinners.

Fitness

The hotel provides guests with fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines. There is an indoor pool on the lower ground floor but no spa.

The ‘iconic’ London Hilton Waldorf is an building located in central London however, it is close to but does not overlook any tourist attractions.

As a Hilton hotel it has a business focus to its sales and marketing whilst still recognising it has a history that dates back to 1908.
