As per other hotels in the brand, The Hilton Munich City is not officially rated and can be considered as a ‘’full service’’ hotel with a mix of facilities to support the Business and Leisure markets.

Location

As the name suggests the hotel sits in the Heart of the City Centre, 10-15 min. walking distance from the main Street of Munich – Marienplatz, with loads of restaurants, shopping centres and attractions. The hotel is attached to the train station of Rosenheimer Platz which provides a direct link to Munich’s International Airport in 40 minutes. For those attending a congress in the city, the Munich Messe is 20 minutes away.

For delegates driving the hotel has access to an external car park with 440 spaces, and the A9 motorway is 20 minutes away.

For group travel coaches can park outside.

Design

The hotel’s exterior presents a traditional but modern appearance of mostly sand colour and glass which provides a large amount of natural daylight to its interior.

Inside the style is modern and contemporary without luxury touches.

Meeting Space

All meeting space can be found in the same area of the ground floor with access from the hotel lobby and can be privatised on request.

The largest, the Saloon Strauss is 256 sqm. and can accommodate 280 in theatre or 160 in classroom style.

All types of meetings. Kick off meetings, Leadership meetings, product launch meetings etc. up to 200 Pax.

Bedrooms

The hotels 483 bedrooms are split across the first to fifth bedroom floors and come with a work desk, laptop safe / tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wi-fi, plus an Iron and Iron board, and mini Fridge. 

Mini fridges are empty, bathrobes are available on Demand but not in the standard room, and there are no Nespresso machines in the standard rooms.

Restaurant

The 200 seater Mona is the hotel’s main restaurant serving European cuisine, and located on the ground floor

Privatisation can be requested but for dinner meetings, a meeting room is recommended where HCPs are involved.

Juliet Rose Bar is also on the ground floor.

Fitness

Hotel guests have access to a fitness gym on the ground floor, providing free weights and exercise machines.

As part of the Hilton brand, the hotel is not officially rated with external travel sites providing a 4/5 score from Tripadvisor.

The hotel is located within the city center of Munich but away from the historic centre and more touristic areas.
