General Overview

The Grand Hotel Dino is a hotel and conference centre for business and corporate events. Of the 450 events held at the hotel annually, 70% are from the pharmaceutical sector.

Location

The hotel is set within beautifully manicured gardens, located in Baveno on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Italy, 45 kms and 40 minutes by car or taxi, to the Northeast of Milan and Malpensa Airport.

For delegates driving, the hotel offers 300 parking spaces.

Design

The Grand Hotel Dino combines classic Italian elegance with modern and contemporary design elements.

The exterior is characterized by its grand, symmetrical facade with large arched windows, wrought-iron balconies, and ornate detailing. The use of natural stone and warm colours complements the scenic surroundings.

The entrance is marked by a grand, welcoming portico with columns, creating an impressive first impression. The landscaped gardens and decorative water features around the entrance enhance the overall aesthetics.

Meeting Space

The hotels conference centre is extensive, offering 36 meeting spaces across the main, garden, ground floor, and lower floor and garden areas. From Boardrooms for 10 up to conferences for up to 1200 in theatre style.

Ballrooms and Banquet Halls: The hotel offers several grand ballrooms and banquet halls, suitable for weddings, gala dinners, and other special events. These spaces are elegantly decorated.

Breakout Rooms: In addition to large event spaces, the hotel provides several smaller breakout rooms ideal for workshops, seminars, and private meetings.

Bedrooms

The hotel's 350 bedrooms are split over 5 floors and standard rooms come with business amenities such as a work desk, laptop safe/complimentary wi-fi with tea/coffee-making facilities in the suites only.

Rooms that include mini-fridge, bathrobes, and Nespresso machines, can be removed on request.

Restaurant

The Tre Isole Restaurant is on the Main Floor and serves Italian cuisine for up to 700, and can be privatised on request but for dinner meetings, a meeting room is recommended.

There are three other restaurants: Last Hall and Rustico,  plus the Panorama restaurant

Fitness

Guests have access to a fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines, both?

The are two pools, one internal and one external which is seasonal.

These facilities are on a different floor to the meeting spaces.
