General Overview:

The Marriott Ghent Hotel is a business-oriented hotel with 500m2 of meeting space which forms an important part of the venue`s offline and online marketing.

Location;

The Marriott Ghent sits on one of the city's many canals, in the centre of the historic city of Ghent, one of the largest student cities, The hotel is easily accessible by car from the motorway and is within 5 minutes walking distance from the 1st public transport stop. For delegates driving, the hotel has 50 spaces.  

Design;

Externally, the hotel is in keeping with the historical design of the city. Internally, the design style is in contrast to its exterior and is a simple "modern classic" style including its bedrooms and meeting spaces.

Bedrooms;

The hotel has 150 bedrooms and equipped with Air-conditioning, free WIFI, and a minibar. Bathrooms are functional and well-designed with mid-range toiletries. There are no executive-level facilities such as a club lounge. and all rooms follow a similar color theme and show no evidence of the hotel's historic external architecture.

Restaurant:

The restaurant is used for breakfast lunch and dinner with the possibility to host private groups. The design of the restaurant is similar as the hotel, perfectly aligned to the number of hotel rooms and the business position of the hotel.

The Mid-town Grill is the hotel's dinner restaurant and is open to non-residential guests.

Meeting space 

All rooms are located on the ground floor of the hotel and due to the size of the meeting rooms, multiple medium size events can be hosted at the same time, up to 200 rooms in plenary. 

Experience:

The hotel is a regular host and has organized a wide range of meetings and events for companies within the healthcare sector.

Fitness:

Guests have access to free weights and machines.

The hotel overlooks one of the city's canals, and the more well-known tourist attractions are close by but are not overlooked.

This is a limited fitness facilities, without a spa or wellness area, and supports the venue presented as a location for business.
